Intriguing! Having followed the paths through the SVG flowchart for Book 2, it seems that you are right. I've raised this on the ML because we've already 'fixed' this by removing the text saying that you climb the stairs in 302 (mirroring the Mongoose editions). We will likely revert the text to the original now that someone smarter than we are has highlighted this. If you'd like to be mentioned by name in the credits for Book 2, post your name here (or PM it to me) and I'll add it. (Annoyed now--we should have seen this years ago! )

It seems as though the combats involving the Skryza (sections 97, 190, 207, 265, 279, 324) should give you an extra bonus for wielding 'Kaistar' in the same way as the Direfly combat in section 68, since it's implied that dawn doesn't break until you reach section 120.

Yes, I see what you mean. That makes sense. Added to the xml; this fix will be online when we re-release Trail of the Wolf, hopefully sometime this coming year. Cheers!

How about CoK, section 227? I thought 'Flameshaft' was meant to be a Magi-Magic thing not a Brotherhood spell...?

Yeah, we actually already caught that erratum: "Brotherhood -> Old Kingdom". Will be fixed in the next release of Book 14--which should be quite soon.

Have you got the use of Slow Fall for a Sun Thane from section 297 in Deathlord, despite you only reaching that paragraph IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT KAI ALCHEMY, lol? I think there's something similar in the temple of Antah, in LoV.

Yeah, the best way to fix that editorial oversight was:
In Section 127 of TLoV we've made the following changes:

Here's one- not so much an outright error as a situation that requires more clarification I believe. Wolfs Bane 270; a Manoyd attacks whilst you are getting changed. The text, and the discipline improvement mentioned imply you are fighting unarmed, but that is never explained explicitly. Does that mean no Sun Sword & no usual Weaponmastery bonii?

Book 2 Fire on the Water Chapter 49 First paragraph For three days and nights, the fleet of Durenor spread canvas and sail swiftly towards the Holmgulf. But although the voyage is fast, each ship in the fleet is cursed by misfortune. Sails tear, ropes mysteriously untie themselves and timbers warp and leak. The men become short-tempered in the cramped quarters and fighting, often to the death, is commonplace. By the third night of the voyage, Lord Axim is close to despair. There is something amiss with this sentence, isn't it? Or should it be left like it is, since Mr. Dever do have an uncommon style of phrasings now and then. I did check with the errata page, to see if this was already mentioned. Regards Sam

The men become short-tempered in the cramped quarters and fighting, often to the death, is commonplace. Yes, I would have written " their cramped quarters". A comma before "and fighting" might also improve readability.

Book 17, section 290
shattered would better fit in the description. The remnants of disintegration are not going to shatter anything anymore.

Thanks for the report. We discussed it on the mailing list here but ultimately decided not to change the text in this case. But thanks for flagging it! We do appreciate comments and feedback even if we decide not to follow up on them.

Yes, I apparently overlooked the dual meaning of the word -on others or on self.
With that in mind, I also agree with not changing it; if only because the style of Joe Dever strikes me as showing the action rather than the result.

I was playing through the WOLW books today, and noticed that the action charts don't seem to include the special items list. Is this intentional?
