Giak is the common tongue of the foul denizens of the Darklands. Joe Dever has provided a greatly expanded Giak word list with over 250 new words. www.projectaon.org/en/Main/EnglishToGiakWordListAs the former maintainer of a Giak dictionary and tutorial, I'm very excited to see a new official word list. A little Hoki Hakzok anyone ? ;D
Can't help but wonder if the new words signal some Giak words coming up in the next unwritten LW books by JD.

It's a pity they don't cover all the words in the first books. I'm just playing FftD, and in where I meet Banedon for the first time, defending himself against Giaks - when the Giaks see me they shout
‘Ogot! Ogot!’ (Retreat! Retreat!)
RANEG ROGAG OK—ORGADAKA OKAK ROGAG GAJ! (ComeBack/Return _____ __ - Human? You/Yours/You _____ Die!) I put human with a ? as human is actually Orgadak minus the trailing A.

Well, according to the Lone Wolf Club Newsletter Summer Special 1985: The literal translation of this Giak sentence is as follows: RANEG ( return) ROGAG ( future tense) OK ( I)--ORGADAKA ( humans) OKAK ( you) ROGAG ( future tense) GAJ ( die) Rearranged into English, the sentence reads: "I will return--you humans will die!"

This is a much better list than the one in the Magnamund Companion. There's a lot of great work here, but I can't believe there's still no word for 'mean.'
