Hi If you would like to see Joe Dever don´t miss the Roleplaying-Game convention RPC in Cologne/Germany (17.+18th April 2010). Mr. Dever will be there at the Mantikore-Verlag stand to sign the books of the new german Lone Wolf Edition (Einsamer Wolf). We will have the first 3 books at the stand and also the mini-adventure Banedons Auftrag (Dawn of the Darklords) and also some merchandise stuff like posters and Shirts. And if you will arrive in costume, you will have the chance to win a price (for the best Lone Wolf costume) - a dinner with Mr. Dever himself! Don´t miss it! www.rpc-germany.de/

Oh, I would've enjoyed that. Want to get Mr D to sign my New Order books, now I've finally got my hands on them once more. Also would've been a nice excuse to visit - and stay with - a couple of my friends in Cologne.
Sadly - in one sense - I'm off on hols on 18th April. Have to stay at home to prepare for that, head out to the airport etc. Won't be able to make it for the Con.
Oh well. Next year.

it's really not fair that Joe never seems to come to America for any conventions-or maybe he does and I'm just too dumb to go to any at the right time. i called up my mother and told her that he will be in Cologne, and she laughed and told me "I bet that sucks." yes. yes it does.

It's a copy of one of the Beaver versions of Flight from the Dark that a member of the Tower of the Sun send around the world to get signatures from the forum members, hoping eventually to get Joe's signature aswell.

Pardon my bad english - what for a traveling book? Didn't your buddy (I think he used the name methos at TotS) already signed the book? He knows what it is if I'm not mistaken. As for questions, mainly, I have three of them: -What's up with book 29 (and the rest of the series)? There has been mentions in the past that this book would be released in March, but Mongoose said they are still waiting for the script. -What about that company, Red Entertainment, that is continuing the development on the LW video game? Can he tell us more about it? What's the status of the development? Is there any new media of the game available somewhere? -Finally, the LW movie that Convergence Entertainment bought the rights for. On IMDB, it is currently list as a 2012 release. What is the status on this?

Methos is the german translator of Book 2. I´m the publisher. If you like you can see my buisness on www.mantikore-verlag.de I´m sorry it is not in english language at the moment, but I hope it will be in near future. I have some nice signed LW books in my shop there. Regards the traveling book. Easiest way would be to send such a book directly to me - I´ll let it sign by Joe and send it back to you. If you like - please send me an email to mantikoreverlag@aol.com and we will speak about this in detail (e.g. adress).

Wow - must be so nice to live in a civilised part of the world.
1. You have conventions for this sort of thing. 2. You get celebrity guests going. 3. You have the opportunity to meet these authors
I live in South Africa, so the chances of Mr Dever visiting here are somewhere between "slim" and "none". I'd also like to know what's happening with that video game.
Also, since he's decided to revisit the LW world with the continuation of the series - has he any plans to revisit or recreate the Freeway Warrior series too?

Mr D mentioned at the Paris Conv. that he's also working on a completely new series of books, utterly unconnected with Lone Wolf. Though he was - very - reluctant to give any info away, I did at least get out of him that it won't even take place in the universe of Aon. So, as far away from Lone Wolf as possible, really.

Hey guys - please if you have any questions to Joe - ask right here. As I told you, I´ll ask all the questions and post it after the cologne show here in the forum. Further, there will be an interview with Joe from a german RPG comunity. I think they will film it and you can see it later on dorptv.wordpress.com/ So - ask, ask, ask as many questions you know.
