Yes, it’s a very old Scandinavian name (one of my favorites, thanks to Joe Dever). It just sounds evil, though, doesn’t it? It could be worse, I suppose--it could be Slûtar.

I always liked the name Bjorn too.

Yes, but Darklord Bjorn doesn't quite have that certain ring to it...

But he might get together with Darklord Benny and inflict some evil Naar-induced music onto the world.

One more reason to fear Norway: they have a city named Maaken! Someone should open an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant there, called...(drum roll)... The Maaken GORGE!Doomy, author of brutally unfunny inside-jokes since 1977.

*laugh* I love that idea for a café! Maybe you could suggest it to Joe Dever? NS.

While on names, isn't Cetza in Book 10 just aztec spelt backwards... or is it me.

It'd be difficult for "Cetza" being "Aztec" in reverse just to apply to you, Runeheart. I'm not sure if it was intentional, however--I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't really assume that's the case.

Remember Oede being jOE DEver? It's entirely possible, particularly if Cetza is supposed to be an ancient and mystical savage name. NS.

Right. That may be more likely than I'm allowing.

On the Oede front, I may be completely wrong, but I think it's too strong a coincidence!

And if the Oede theory works where does that leave jver? Just a thought...

Who knows? Maybe Jver was going to be a major villain (or hero?) later in the New Order series.
