Very nicely done, great work, and many thanks.
I think Hardcore is going to be quite the challenge. Will have to put a lot of thought into what to take for it.

Hi Dave
The software's looking good. I've discovered a couple of crashes, though. Should I report them here or in another thread?

I really appreciate the work you've put into this, it makes the experience so much less cumbersome that I won't read the books any other way now.
I have a suggestion also. An option to be able to view the full action chart without scrolling (just a drawn size setting would suffice). Currently, how much of the action chart is visible changes with the resolution. Oddly enough, higher resolutions show less action chart.

hey guys! It's been a while...I was busy working at my new house, so I hadn't really much time to be on-line. BUT I happened to check the forum at my gf house, and I saw the new thread... Thanks to Dave and all the other people that have worked on this program, tonight I shall take a break from work and I'm going to try it! Thanks again for your time and your efforts...I shall enjoy it!!
See ya!

My first game didn't go too well, as I started out with CS 11 and EP 22 and died from a Kraan instadeath while trying to avoid the Burrowcrawler fight. (Is it possible to avoid it if you meet Banedon?)
I'm currently on my second game, and I've finished Book 2. My initial scores were CS 19 and EP 20. (Edit: I died to a Kalkoth in book 3...those things are hard without the extended CRT.)
Oddly enough, I ended up with the Chainmail Waistcoat at the start of Book 1 both times.

"Very good," le sigh, "yet, I am already all the way through... I guess I will have to make another profile... I am kind of annoyed at the little issue with the magic spear (probably old news... but still), I didn't want to have to screw Rhyger to save myself..."

Dave: Many thanks for the wonderful program. This new version really was worth the wait.
ryukatana: Doesn't Rhygar buy it no matter if you pass him the spear or not?

(Is it possible to avoid it if you meet Banedon?) [...] Just to throw in the answer to interrankitten's ( ;D ) question: (In case it was meant as one.) <Spoiler:> Well.. - No. - You have to face the Burrowcrawler inevitably sometime after you met Banedon. (AFAIK I might add, but I'm pretty sure..)

Your work is very good Dave. You have managed to create software that is both powerful enough to simulate the experience of reading through the books, yet simple enough to be easily used. Being simple is very important as it still allows for your mind to wander and visualize all that is going on without having to stop to think about something with the software every time you go to a page. i am very impressed.
There is one minor things that you changed that I'd like to mention that I preferred in the previous version however. In the previous version if something changed on your action chart, it would automatically go that particular page of it to show the change. In my opinion, it would be nice if it still did that, or maybe if that were an option.
Once again Dave, awesome program and thank you so much for sharing your talents with all of us.
