The King of Siyen has been assassinated. Prince Karvas is the sole heir of this rich and powerful realm but he lives in exile in distant Sheasu—the Isle of Lost Heroes. In his absence, evil Baron Sadanzo and his army of robber-knights have staked their claim to the vacant throne. In Mydnight's Hero, your quest is to voyage to Sheasu and track down Prince Karvas in the fabled city of Mydnight. Once found you must persuade him to return with you to Siyen without delay. You have only 50 days in which to complete this challenging quest or Siyen will be enslaved by the tyrannical Sadanzo and his brutal followers. Direct LinkWe hope you enjoy our latest completed book. Only five more Lone Wolf books left! For Sommerlund and the Kai! Jonathan Blake Project Aon

Yippeeee!!!
I've felt like playing through Mydnight's Hero for a week or two, now. And, exceptionally, I had the paper book to hand (I live pretty far away from most of my LW collection).
Yet, notably, I thought I'd hold off reading it, so I could play through the PA version instead. First run-through tonight, or tomorrow.
THE FUTURE IS ELECTRONIC!! DOWN WITH PAPER!!!

First time poster. Long time Project Aon User. Even longer time LoneWolf fan.
Thanks to everyone in this project.
Just finished Mydnight's Hero and I was surprised how much fun I had. I must admit in some of the books after Masters of Darkness I do experience a bit of Magnamund ennui, but it was pretty awesome!

Mydnite's Hero leaves me VERY curious to see the future development of Sejanoz and his tiger shrines, evil stone daggers (why did I keep you, you bastard!), and zombers with bad tans and steam guns.

well most of the time evil weapons were downright useful (dagger of vashna, helshezag) in previous books so naturally i thought it'd turn out to be something indispensable later WRONG

That's exactly why I took it too! Nice little bit of reverse psychology by Joe, I thought.

I made the same mistake, but saw the reference that killed you, used the Kai discipline of going-back-in-time, dropped the knife and carried on. Yes, I know it's cheating

Dear Project Aon...
A lot of work goes into putting each book online, I know - and I've no wish to downplay the enormity of getting this stuff done quickly - but I was just wondering... By the time book 29 comes out in March, how far along will PA be with the New Order books, do you think?
I'm still missing three of the books (including no. 28). Curious to know if I'll be able to go into book 29 with a Grand Master that's played through every book so far.
Once I get my hands on book 29, I don't think I'll have the discipline to hold off playing it, y'see...
