Hi guys! Here are two screenshots showing a recent addition to the Seventh Sense program - images in the tooltips of the action chart! (sorry for the large size/long load... I hate jpg compression artifacts, so lossless png is my friend) I think this adds a lot to the program, as one can then recall exactly the appearance of an item or battle illustration as it appeared in the book when you got the item/fought the battle. But, as you can imagine, I'd rather spend my time furthering the code toward the release of the Magnakai (getting closer all the time!), instead of hunting down pictures for the items and battles... This is where you guys come in! If anyone is interested in helping, please let me know. I've included a list of items that I need pictures for in the next post. They are generally chronological, so the first ~30 items are in book 1, the next group are in book 2, etc (of course, there is overlap from book to book). I also need help tracking down the combats in each book, and whether there is an associated picture with it... To be especially helpful, I'll need to following information about pics: Items - what book the item's image appears in AND the filename of the image (e.g. small6.gif) Combats - What book AND page the combat takes place in AND the image filename (e.g. ill11.gif) If you do decide to help, you should probably state your intentions here in this thread, and which items/combats you are going to look for, so we don't have a bunch of duplicated/wasted effort out there. Thanks!

Just to clarify - no-one is being asked to do the whole list, or all of the combats. If someone wants to help, just pipe in with "I'll look up the first 25 items..." or "I'll do combats in book 1" - that sort of thing...

I'll try doing the combats from book 1. You only want the ones with pictures mentioned, right?

That's perfect! Thanks pi4t! You've saved me a lot of work!
And yes, listing the combats without pictures is good idea, too, in case there is an illustration somewhere else in the same book that goes well with it.
Anyone wishing to help with combats, it would be great to follow pi4t's format.

Thank you
Oh, btw, if another book has something suitable for one of the combats I can't match to an illustration, or that fits better than my match, feel free to say.

You can get items 1-9 from the weaponmastery discipline pictures - books 6-12, weapons.gif
setup: name:book number, filename
Sommerswerd:2, ill5.gif Backpack:1, acbckpck.gif [small image on the backpack items section of the action chart] Belt Pouch:1, pouch.gif Meal:1, food.gif Map of Sommerlund:1, map.jpg Helmet:1, helmet.gif Chainmail Waistcoat:2, mail.gif Healing Potion:1, potion.gif Vordak Gem:1, small5.gif
I couldn't find a key or laumpspur. There's probably a key somewhere, and the replacement art has a laumspur plant (or you could use a normal meal)
If you're using replacement art, the winged serpent there is rather closer to what we're looking for, I think! Also, the backpack there's bigger (therefore higher resolution)
(hint: if you find you're spending ages looking for those items, go Ctrl-F. The backpack's caption's 'equipment section')

You can get items 1-9 from the weaponmastery discipline pictures - books 6-12, weapons.gif Yeah, I'll cut out the appropriate weapon pics from that general one for the basic weapons. It would be nice to have alternate pics for the special named weapons, like prince pelathar's sword - even though there is no actual pic of it... Perhaps if someone finds a good image from a later book that looks like it *might* be Pelathar's sword... I definitely want to stick with LW illustrations only, and not pull from the multitude of things available via the internet. If there is no picture for something, that's okay, too!

Do we have any higher-res scans of those weapons? The ones we've got are fairly low-res... and so they don't have that nice detailed look that most of the images have.
Anyone?
