Any idea on the number of unique software downloads? I.e. by IP address, to discount repeat downloads.

Any idea on the number of unique software downloads? I.e. by IP address, to discount repeat downloads. There are a number of ISPs out there that assign people an IP from a range each time they connect - so their IP changes over time. Also, people who have a domestic or corporate network hooked up to the internet through a router will often share a single external IP across all the machines connected. And then you have people like me. Since first downloading a version of Seventh Sense, I've moved house from one where my PC shared a single static external IP with half a dozen other PCs, to one where my PC shares a single, dynamically assigned external IP with a few other PCs, and replaced my PC to boot. IP addresses are a lot like street addresses - at any given time, any given address may apply to multiple individuals, and, over time, any given individual may be found at multiple addresses...

Nope. I have no idea how many individual users there are. But I know it's more than 2!
