I actually got one for myself and a friend earlier today, as the preorders went live almost immediately after I last posted here. I've got a good bit of signed Joe Dever stuff, but hey a signed map would be epic all the same. Btw, I got through the signup and order easily using stock google translate.

The front page... I assume it is a Drakkarim on a kraan? the knight... a Sommerlund royal knight? what is the Castle in the background? I think so. Drakkar and Kraan are sure, while knight and castle may be Sommlending or not. I didn't think about a place in particular, just tried to do a nice shot. About my small maps: most of them are just samples, to test the look with a frame and send some previews to friends. Durenor map liked to Mongoose which put it in a MultiplayerGamebook, they recently asked for Stornlands map for another MultiGB coming soon, the others are only for web. I don't think I'll work on the books. The style has evolved, while I refer to the first Chalk's maps (the first purpose of this map was attaching on my wall, so I chose my favourite style )

For anyone following this thread, I saw Thomas' announcement with the new official site, which is in English and seems very easy to use Needless to say, order now placed! www.mapmagnamund.com/ Edit - apologies for the slight duplication, but still worth including how easy the new site is Just click on the paypal link.

It's a great map. Received my copy few days ago. Only thing I would say is that it would have been nicer if they had rolled it instead of folding it!
Go get it if you're a fan of LoneWolf!!

Got mine today--woo-hoo! Even got it signed by Grand Master D himself. I'm stunned by the level of detail and the amount of previously unknown locations--the oases of the Dry Main are all named, as are just about every single island! Even places we've seen before have surprising additions of detail: the River Denka and the Forest of Winnigen in Lyris; Anakgogak, V'taag, and Kurzanaar in the Durncrag Mountains; Xutrak Range, Silent Valley, and Forest of Oxalar in Ogia and Magador. So far, the only thing I can see that's "missing" would be Mount Prindar in the Ceners, but that whole area is covered in labels already! Nevertheless, absolutely loving this!

the oases of the Dry Main are all named, as are just about every single island! Yeah, Joe imagined a lot of new names (and I suppose many of them already existed since a long time), that's great. Even places we've seen before have surprising additions of detail: the River Denka and the Forest of Winnigen in Lyris; If you read The Magnamund Companion, you could see Joe talked about the Principality of Winigen (with only 1 "n"), but the fact that there's 2 "n" on the map is perfectly assumed by Joe, you'll see that in volume 2 of The Stornlands sourcebook for the MPGB: www.mongoosepublishing.com/rpgs/lonewolfrpg/stornlands-ii.htmlAnakgogak, V'taag, and Kurzanaar in the Durncrag Mountains You could already see these fortresses (and some smaller ones) on The Darklands map I draw for The Darklands sourcebook: www.mongoosepublishing.com/rpgs/lonewolfrpg/the-darklands.htmlXutrak Range, Silent Valley, and Forest of Oxalar in Ogia and Magador. You'll find many details about these places in the Magador chapter from volume 1 of The Stornlands: www.mongoosepublishing.com/rpgs/lonewolfrpg/stornlands.htmlSo far, the only thing I can see that's "missing" would be Mount Prindar in the Ceners, but that whole area is covered in labels already! Nevertheless, absolutely loving this! We wanted first to add Mount Prindar, as some other mountains were added (Mount Lajakodak, Mount Segr, etc.), but this one, as you say, has already labels over it. Francesco hadn't enough space! And Mount Navalyn (mentioned in LW6 too) couldn't be added too. But you'll find detailed maps of the Stornlands, including such informations, in The Stornlands sourcebooks.
