Does anyone know how renumeration will go with megadeal subscribers?
I would like to put the money from a refund towards getting the books from Mantikore. Has Mangoose or Joe made any mention of how this might work?

From what I've read, it's prorate with what you've received. I'd imagine that as the purchase was with them, you'll be refunded and then you'll have to purchase the remaining books from the new mob.

Still, is it any chance that me, as a Malaysian, see a new copy of this series at our bookstores here? I really would like to have a collection. No problem at all. Now the Mantikore-Verlag will publish book 18+ and you will get all books via Amazon or directly on the Mantikore webshop www.mantikore-verlag.de . Please note that at the moment the website is on german but we work on getting it translated so that your may buy the books without any problems. We will ship the books world-wide wherever you are.

Just to help those pre-ordering who are English speakers, you need to type your billing then postage address in section 2 (beside the two sample addresses)
I'm so used to providing addresses through paypal I guess! So it sounds as if for the moment we send money with paypal from our side upon delivery?

Has anyone received their Megadeal refund from Mongoose yet? No. In fact, at almost a month now since I originally asked, I've heard no word from them at all. I understand that it might take awhile to sort through all their orders but I would have liked some confirmation that they received my request and would act on it as soon as possible. Silence from Mongoose has never been a good sign.

i emailed mongoose (well Matthew directly) shortly after the announcement, and received a reply on the 9th March, to which I subsequently replied expressing my wish for a refund (as most here to pay for the Mantikore books). I haven't heard anything back since. I don't know if to push it or not, also getting a bit worried, especially as moving house in a few days ...

Nope, me neither. I emailed Matthew on the 28th Feb and received no reply at all. On the grounds they did ask for patience, I didn't worry too much, I figured I'd give them to the end of this month before making waves.
Sadly, silence is the only thing Mongoose ever excelled at.

While I did not receive an answer to my original mail at the beginning of March, I received an answer from Matthew around 2 weeks ago after I had inquired again.
An official statement would be really useful...

I've received a response from Mongoose. Hellebore Did you use a set of jump leads and a high voltage power supply to get it?

Heh heh... Notice he says he got a 'response' from Mongoose. He doesn't mention at all what it was. -A

Just a clarification on what options I have in terms of a refund. I'd also asked about the Stornlands book II as I'd preorded it last year.
