This is the official thread for bug reports for 1.14.0 and up.
Please include as much information about what lead up to the bug as possible, and how to reproduce it (if possible). The more details you provide, the easier it is to fix the problem!
I don't anticipate that there will be too much in the way of bugs, but, if you happen to notice anything odd, let me know about it!
Thanks!
------------------
p.s. On the "to-fix" menu, from last version - if you get your Combat Skill to zero, weird things happen in combat. Still investigating the issue...

Sorry to be the first one to pile on Dave but...section 70 (edit: Captives of Kaag). Option 1 requires having both Kai Surge and Kai Alchemy - even though I have both; the option is grayed out. Kai Surge was my bonus discipline; Kai Alchemy is sitting in slot 1. Kai Surge appears to be applying normally in combat.

Sorry to be the second one :-)
When you've disabled dropping items during combat, you've also disabled equipping/unequipping weapon-like special items during combat (by-the-book mode). On was it intentional?

Another one, in book 14, section 181, there is puzzle with this picture: I don't remember this, maybe I've never come to it before, and I tried solving it by "8" (So that both halves of the plate will be the number 24). However, in section 8 I am with Banedon already rescued. There is another puzzle in section 220 with the solution of "8" (as stated in section 8 footnote). This is rather funny, it allows me to skip nearly the whole book :-) Apparently the right solution is "20". So, solution in section 181 is "20", and solution in section 220 is "8".

There`s two maps, "Map of Tekaro" and "Map of Luyen" that aren`t marked as * special items. And when trying to deposit them in storage the program stops working and have to close it. (This has happened me at start of book 8).

There`s two maps, "Map of Tekaro" and "Map of Luyen" that aren`t marked as * special items. And when trying to deposit them in storage the program stops working and have to close it. (This has happened me at start of book 8). Those two maps are not supposed to be Special Items. I've changed them to Backpack Items on the master list, but this is why it crashed... when you tried to deposit them, it was looking for them in your Backpack Items, not special items... At any rate, I've now fixed this potential crash by checking at game-resume time whether LW has any of the "Backpack Item" maps, and if so, they are put into the Backpack. If the backpack is full, they are deposited directly into Storage. If any one is in the middle of a book 6 (or book 8) run with one of these maps, that last situation may be inconvenient, but that's just the way it has to be... I also addressed the other issues mentioned above. and will be posting a bug-fix release later today.

Another one: I was in book 12 by the book no death/restarts run, when upgraded to version 1.14. Finished book 12, and there was announcement about "special props". I continued in book 13 and 14, and then restarted book 12 again (I'm greedy and wished Kagonite Chainmail). Restarted book 12 from section 1 several times, until I picked low enough to get the chainmail. But when I finish book 12 again, there is still considered no death/restart run...

Nuts, I thought I fixed that "section 1" restart /no-death bug... Well, I will see if I can't fix that one for the next release, too! In RL, I've got rehearsals lined up until 10:00 tonight (about 4:00 now), so it'll be late tonight before I can get to it. If you catch any other bugs in the meantime, please report them here!

So yeah, I'm really digging in a different direction here as usual. I saw the discussion about Curing in Grandmaster in the 1.13 Bug Reports thread. Curing is definitely supposed to be a loyalty bonus only. The text in the GM Disciplines section, while unnecessarily vague, is obviously just for flavor. This issue is even directly addressed in Newsletter No. 28 www.projectaon.org/en/ReadersHandbook/NewsletterExcerpts

Nuts, I thought I fixed that "section 1" restart /no-death bug... Well, I will see if I can't fix that one for the next release, too! I really *did* fix it this time. Embarassingly, it was doing the *opposite* of what I thought I told it to do - marking it as "no-restart" when it should have been a restart, and marking it as "restarted" when it shouldn't! Anyway, now it's doing the right thing. Latest bug fix it posted - please ensure you're using the latest version (1.14.1) before posting new bug reports. Thanks, all!

This issue is even directly addressed in Newsletter No. 28 www.projectaon.org/en/ReadersHandbook/NewsletterExcerptsDidn't see this until after I posted my other post... That is a little odd, I think, though you are obviously correct in your reading of the Newsletter. To describe "steady restoration of EP" as simple "flavor text" seems just wrong to me somehow. If Deliverance, as a discipline, really only restores a single 20 EP shot once per book, that's just silly. I might have to open this concept up to some debate as to how it's implemented in Seventh Sense... Obviously, we've got some room for alternate interpretations based on different rule-sets, so I think a good base-line for By-the-book would be the Newsletter... but then, the book does also says "steady restoration of EP", so yes, vague, as you say!

Any headway with the "10th weapon not being selected" in WM issue?

Any headway with the "10th weapon not being selected" in WM issue? Works OK for me (by the book mode). When in book 13, you could tick one more weapon in weaponmastery table. (You could select 10th weapon only if Weaponmastery was your starting discipline in book 6.)

Another from book 14: section 99 - when picking number, Magnakai Weaponmastery bonuses (+3 basic and +2 Mentora) and Silver Bow bonus not taken into account - only +3 Grand Pathsmanship bonus
