Book 10, section 23: Partisan Horseman counts as Animal in combat. Is it correct? He's on horseback, but still...

Well, I figured he must be a real party animal -- Party-san Horse-man! OK, I guess I should probably remove the "Animal" designation. Any objections? Speak now or forever hold your peace...

Using the 16.1 build in Book 8, when facing the Helghast in the Temple of the Sword under Hardcore rules. I deposited the Sommersword at the beginning of the adventure but the program still thinks I have it and Paragraph 60 will only let me turn to 308. At that point as I recall, even with a regular weapon, I could damage the Helghast. This happens regardless of whether I use the road or the barge. In both cases, I didn't have psi-screen.
Sorry to use my first post to point out a problem but this has been seriously hampering an otherwise AWESOME experience. Thanks Dave!

I wonder if perhaps you have any of the following weapons in your possession : Dagger of Vashna, Magic Spear, or Jewelled Mace? Since all of them are magic weapons capable of damaging a Helghast, you will go to section 308, as though you possessed the Sommerswerd, even though you do not (a little oversight on the author's part.) There is a special note about this in the pop-up tooltip in section 60, when you hover the mouse over button for section 308. I'm guessing that is what happened. Also, you need to make sure you equip one of those magical weapons before attempting to fight the Helghast, or you will be sadly ineffective in the battle! Let me know if you do not, in fact, have any of those weapons in your possession, as that would indicate a definite (and serious) bug! Thanks!

Not sure if this is a bug. When I go back to a previous book in the same campaign, it retains the Random Number Table from the book I just left. For example, if I am on Book 10 and go back to Book 6, the RNT for Book 10 is the table that is used. Closing the program and reopening it fixes it.
Also, is there a way to skip a book in the series? I assume no, but I wanted to check.

No way to skip a book, though you can start afresh on any book you like.
That is indeed a bug you've found with the RNT! I'll look into fixing that before the next release. Thanks!

Not necessarily a bug, but the negative combat modifiers you can receive in Books 1 and 3 don't apply to the archery contest combat against Altan.

Book 16, By the Book, section 132 - fighting Cheghath. The psychic bonuses still not halved (I have only Magnakai Psi-surge, and got +6 CS bonus).

Ok, dealing with some of the bug reports since 1.16.1 release:
Fixed: Bow bonus on random "shot outcome" sections now only comes from magic bows, not Weaponmastery/skill. Weaponmastery generally only applies to hitting the target (which is the majority of bow RNT rolls.)
Book 16, S236: Quarterstaff issue fixed, sections aren't all greyed out.
Book 10, S265: Backpack now can't be adjusted prior to losing items... like the rest of similar sections.
Book 10, S23: Horseman no longer gives Animal bonus from special weapons
Fixed: Book RNT should load to correct table when restoring to a previous book in your campaign. I couldn't actually reproduce this bug, but added a line in the code that restores to an earlier book, which should ensure the RNT is initialized correctly. If someone confirm that this works to fix the problem for sure, let me know!
fixed: negative CS penalties from book 1 & 3 now apply to book 6 Archery fight.
fixed: halved psychic Bonus for loyalty Psi-surge skill when in fight with Chegath in book 16. (separate bit of code for the loyalty Psi-surge, needed to copy the code halving the bonus on these sections.)
A few other bugs to clean up, and I'll be ready for release soon.
Clarified rules for Healing loyalty bonus - now the Gameplay options help page and the tooltips in the gameplay options menu match (No Healing/Curing loyalty bonus - you forfeit ALL!). Also added a special tooltip for "Deliverance" on Action chart in Prodigy mode, explaining that you CAN (as a Prodigy) take +1 EP per section without combat, if you have Deliverance.
