Hi folks, I've heard all sorts of things about the quality of the Mongoose-published collectors editions. That some of them are riddled with errors, for example. Has anyone ever put together a definitive list about which ones are good and which ones aren't? Can anyone tell me, if I'm balking at prices, which ones aren't worth my time?
Thanks, Vandervecken

Any book printed using the mongoose printers are prone to have some deficiences which will shorten the life time of an inbound book.
Errors as text misplaced is also common.
Believe mongoose started to use external printers from book 5 and the quality improved then.
If manticore ever reprints book 1 to 4 (do not know if they have or plan to) I'd expect them to be quite a bit better.
Collected errata and errors are on the mongoose forums, it is moved away to another area but the posts are there and you'd find them with any reasonable search engine.
If you buying book 3 or book 8, beware that there exists books which misses a section in main adventure in book 3 and misses several sections in the mini-adventure for book 8. For both of these books mongoose sent out 2 copies of the book to those who got books with the error.
Those who received the book with the error had an extra copy which they could use for what they wished.

Mongoose printed books had a square binding. All the books Mongoose printed we reprinted - these have a curved spine.
