Joe has hinted that book 30 is a return to Helgedad (he was answering questions about reclaimed wasteland at the time and put that there was "something" preventing progress. Sounded like it was connected to the lake of blood).
Personally would love to go to Telchos, revisit Serocca and meet Sun Eagle on Plane of Light before fighting Agarash the Damned (with Moonstone from Plane of Light?).
Also, assume Grand Master will have a showdown with Sesketara. Oriah, who will technically be Empress of the Shadakine Empire, could then broker a peace treaty with the Kai.

Sounded like it was connected to the lake of blood). Interesting. The thing that intrigue me quite is the lake of fire self-extinguished, a fact, that maybe is connected with the machine constructed by Nadziranim able to devastate the Free Nation. About Agarash: Hadn't he been killer by Gray Star in War of the Wizards ?

About Agarash: Hadn't he been killer by Gray Star in War of the Wizards ? You're talking about Shasarak. No I'm talking about Agarash the damned. Hadn't he been killed by Gray Star and the Skull founded several years later, the story described in the novel "The Skull of Agarash" ? (I ask because I've read of this "teory" somewhere of Agarash killed in War of Wizard when you close the portal, but, in fact, the text doesn't speak of Agarash killed in that occurance)

(I ask because I've read of this "teory" somewhere of Agarash killed in War of Wizard when you close the portal, but, in fact, the text doesn't speak of Agarash killed in that occurance) Shasarak is the main bad guy in the Grey Star series. He's the one you are talking about. And Grey Star's story takes place at the same time than the one of LS. So no, it cannot be GS that kills Agarash since he was already dead. Agarash was killed wayyyy before that by the Elder Magi. I suggest that you check the timeline on page 7 of the Magnamund Companion ( link) for all the dates of the different events.

Weren't Agarash and Shasarak simply banished from Magnamund? War of the Wizards (starting with section 350) sure makes it seem that way.

@black Cat
I know the history of magnamund (thanks for the link thought)^ and yes Agarash was defeated by the Elder Magi and banished to the Pit of the Eternal Pain. But during War of Wizards Agarash reappears and want to escape to his prison by exchanging his place with Shazarak.
@desert Lynx
Yes I think so too but years after his banishing (on PL 5077) we have the story of the Skull of Agarash with the skull as the main evil artifact of the comics.

But during War of Wizards Agarash reappears and want to escape to his prison by exchanging his place with Shazarak. It's more like the soul of Agarash that seems to be trapped in the Pit of Eternal Pain. What we see in WotW is when he tried to gain a new physical form (yes, that would had probably meant that there were going to be two different skulls if he had succeeded: one appearing in the Skull of Agarash, and the other one on the shoulders of the living Agarash). Since he never came out completely of the pit in WotW, he is probably still trapped in there with Shasarak as a cellmate. Section 292 of book 23 of the LW series seems to confirm the theory of the imprisoned soul of Agarash: link

Well, the story so far for book 29 published in Sings and Portents, tell that the Lake of Blood self-extinguished itself in MS 5100. There is also another event with a new vast chasm stretching through large parts of the southern darklands, strethching from Cragmantle to Nadgazad, this happened in MS 5101. Actaully, in MS 5084 Sesketera is only the leader of Ghol-Tabras. Grey Star is still the emporer of the Shadakine empire, which is ruled from the city of Shadaki. There is of course the possibility that he successfully dethrones grey star but that is not a covered event. The most likely places for the books are along the large chasms in Magnamund, all of which has been created by the dark god. Gorgoron, Helgedad ruins, new chasm in darklands, Maakengorge, Naaros (includes Bhanar, Siyen and Lunarlia), and Kraknalorg. For Book 29 it has been mentioned it is in Chai and it is related to a new weapon capable of destroying cities with one blast.

When it comes to Agarash and the end of the War of Wizards, then recollect that the Moonstone which was used in that battle ended up in he hands of the dark god afterwards.
Agarash's imprisonment could be a thing which is no longer true afterr about MS 5054, and that the dark god could just wait for an opportunity to send him back to Magnamund.

The bonus adventure shedssome new light on how Naar got the Moonstone. I think it is unlikely it was in MS 5057 after reading it. Probably much more recent like around 5075, when things starts to heat up in Magnamund.
The dark god seemed directly involved in it. I.e. something like sending his minions to where it was and taking it by force, and then quickly make a getaway leaving loads of corpses behind.
Tanith certainly knew for sure that the dark god was behind the theft and also seemed aware that he used the stone against them afterwards.

So about the end of the series: I've read an interview where Joe sayd that "A lot of people will return and many situations left unresolved will be dealt with" so probably Vashna return, Agarash will also maybe return. In my opinion also the Elder Magi will become extinct (or at least Lord Rimoah, I got this feeling). Also I expect an high treason and the death of some Grand Masters. What I'd like to read: new Evils and new drammatic situations created by the great Joe.
About book 29: yes it came out at Lucca Comics and Games - people who have read it said it is very, very good.
