Say what? You mean it was sent from Mongoose right? It most certainly is not printed by them, is it??? Nope, it is not printed by them: they just buy the copies from Mantikore and send them to the Megadealers that are still on board with them. I will say that I'm so pleased that I stayed with Mongoose and didn't ask for a refund when they lost the publishing rights: the books by Mantikore are more expensive than the ones by Mongoose. Paying 664 $CDN in 2007 is one of the best investments I've made in my life! Have rather mixed feelings about this... still not getting any of the promised Books 29-32 as of 2015. So this "pre-order" is way overdued.

So this "pre-order" is way overdued. Hey, the publication of book 29 in English is scheduled for December (Italians were lucky enough to get it first last month). Joe said that something will be announced about the republication of the series (books 1 to 17) and for the publication of books 30 to 32 on December 1st. And as for the pre-ordering: because of the exchange rate and because Mantikore is charging more for the LW books, what I paid in 2007 will make me save a lot of money. Paying 664 $CDN means that I will pay approximately 14 euros per books (32 gamebooks + the 2 novels released so far) instead of the 20 euros Mantikore is currently charging (25 euros for book 29!). It might take a long time, but I'm a patient man!

But I assume that this just means that Mongoose will buy them from Cubicle 7 instead, this is starting from Lone Wolf 29.

Yes, I just saw it too: Joe announced today on his Facebook page that Cubicle 7 will republished all the 28 gamebooks, plus the 4 unpublished ones. All will be in Collector's Edition. I don't know what it means to Mantikore who had the publishing rights for books 18 to 29...

Right...so now we need books from three different publishers for a complete collector edition. And you are counting on the original publisher to stay in business too Yeah, I just want the books delivered and after that I will try to forget how messed up the situation is

If you bought the mega-deal with Mongoose, they will most likely continue to deliver to you buying them instead from Cubicle 7.
Manti-core never had full assortment of books I belive. They've published 18 to 22. Not sure which of the earlier ones they've reprinted. They will continue translating and publichsing the german books, but I'd say discontinue selling the english books. Since they've never had a mega-deal, you'll not be able to buy the english books from them.
Cubicle 7, well, it is still to be annoucned what they will do. Quite a few of the publications had errors in them, more or less annoying, so it would be nice if those were corrected before a new reprint. Maps and covers will be new.

That ain´t no joke? Another publisher? Gentlemen I beg you to excuse my language but... damn thats really frustrating... and the reprints shall get new covers? Does that mean that they won´t even match the allready printed books in style? What about the booksize, will it change too?
I´m usually not the kind a person that complains about stuff that hasn´t been decided yet, but if this is going to happen, I will write a very angry letter to someone who is in charge for this... let´s hope that it will work out fine.

Hopefully, they don't republish as is. Quite a few new bugs made its way in with the republishing. Especially in the action chart sections, story so far and equipment sections.
There is some severe balancing issues to attend to as well, especially in some of the minis.
Books: hard cover and acid free paper, and they will also be sold as packages, one for each series. Alberto Dal Lago cover art (as seen on the Italian collector editions) Francesco Mattioli colour maps
Both of these are new if you have the english versions.
If you don't have a deal right now, then C7 will be the only place to buy from (english). If you have Mongoose, you most likely can continue to get them through the mega deal.

The Mongoose editions were horribly edited, with tons of errors and typos. "Maters of Darkness" on the spine, anyone? The cover art has also largely been terrible for the series.
I am hopeful that the new editions match and are actually edited by someone who pays attention to details.

The cover art has also largely been terrible for the series. Oh the irony! Alberto Dallago did the covers for the first 12 Mongoose gamebooks! But I seem to remember that he once complained about the fact the publisher always wanted him to do very specific stuff. I guess that he had more creative freedom when he made the new Italian versions of these covers. But it's true that the cover of book 6, with the title placed directly on the face of the monster is very... ugly! BTW, you can see the art of the first 8 covers of the new C7 edition (since they are already used by the Italian version) here: link

Already posted to them too. If you have any new errata to contribute then post them on he C7 forum in this topic: forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=4619

The cover art has also largely been terrible for the series. Call me an old fogie, but if it ain't drawn by Gary Chalk, it don't look like Lone Wolf to me
