Ive been faithfully collecting the hardbacks from the earliest Mongoose days up through #22 published by Mantikore-Verlag. I also have a copy of Storms of Chai that I very much would like to get to someday but would very much like to read the intervening books. Is there any chatter of any movement on this front?

Almost certainly they won't be made. From what I understand hardbacks aren't great business to begin with for publisher's, let alone for a niche market. Lone Wolf was Joe's brainchild and he was a fan of physical books, so he was willing to pull some strings to make that work in the face of disinterest from publishers. With Joe's and Holmgard Press' death that seems to be it.

Book 30 hopefully will be released in Novembre 2018, but by who? maybe self-printed by Ben, or through a new publisher? Then book 31 in 2019 and the last book in 2020.
Do you think a ~5 year project (on kickstarter or elsewhere), of reprinting (hardcovers or paperbacks): 2018/2019 Kai series 1-5 2019/2020 magnakai 6-12 2020/2021 grand master13-20 2021/2022 New order 20-29
Is it a crazy idea?
Or Ben Dever should focus to start a new spin-off/prequel/sequel series and new novels after book 32? And release a complete (with bonus adventures and maybe some extra) digital collection of Lone Wolf? (But this website already do it...except the bonus adventures)

With Joe's and Holmgard Press' death that seems to be it. Any idea why there seems to be a much easier time getting this into press in non-english speaking countries? Ive been genuinely puzzled by this. Honestly at this point I think the safest thing to do would simply make the series available on print on demand with a consistent form factor and cover art. Let people pay for hardbacks if they want hardbacks, softbacks if they want softbacks. You see this with some Kickstarter RPG projects. No need for print runs, or publishers or warehouses. No worries if it goes out of print. A single consistent continuously available collection of the whole thing. Maybe a kickstarter, to make the Project Aon editions available print on demand, to fund the layout work and cover art? With Ben's blessing as it's outside of the original Project Aon license, with the knowledge that 29-32 could be released in a matching format. In some ways it would be a shame not to have the bonus stories or the expanded content of some of the deluxe books. However id much rather have a consistent run of the whole thing, as nearly errata free as possible and id rather have it sooner rather than later honestly. The people who have been following the deluxe editions this whole time have been wrestling with this for over a decade. Or Ben Dever should focus to start a new spin-off/prequel/sequel series and new novels after book 32? And release a complete (with bonus adventures and maybe some extra) digital collection of Lone Wolf? (But this website already do it...except the bonus adventures) As much as I have backed current spin-offs with enthusiasm, such as Autumn Snow 1 &2; I think getting a consistent print run of the core series needs to be a priority.

I have backed Autumn Snow too, can't wait to have the 2nd volume.
My advice is to try to align all the releases from Sweden, Italy, UK publishers, so all the fans can access to bonus adventures, novels and everything was not translated or out of print. For example, Vincent Lazzari is writing a bonus adventure, where you play a Bor dwarf for LW 8 (please, correct me if i am wrong), and i am sure many fans outside Sweden would like to play it.
Probably a new official website is in the making. And like you said, maybe a print-on-demand option in the official store could be a great idea.

I also have a copy of Storms of Chai that I very much would like to get to someday but would very much like to read the intervening books. at this point, read book 23-28 here on project aon, so you can read Storms of Chai. Storms of Chai is a great book, i really enjoyed it. and its Bonus Adventure. Lazzari impressed me with The Tides of Gorgoron; the last books are in good hands for sure.

I wish they would consider publishing (and republishing previous collector's editions) in e-book format. It seems like the cost of producing an e-book should be much lower, and it would at least allow those of us who haven't read the new versions access to the bonus adventures as well as the expanded Flight from the Dark without having to wait for who knows how long.
I really wish the expanded edition of FFTD could be played in Seventh Sense, as a paid "upgrade" option.
The bonus adventures would be fun to have in Seventh Sense too, but I know I'm getting ahead of myself.
Maybe they are worried about electronic versions being copied/distributed without consent? That's the only downside I can see to offering an e-book.

Yeah, I also find it funny with all those foreign releases. I mean, you would think nowadays English would be the main market, potentially even in non-English speaking countries. I speak Swedish fluently and I actually have little interest in that new book even with the exclusive bonus adventure. Would much rather have it in English like the rest of my collection.
I do have to say in general, after playing with Seventh Sense for so long or otherwise, I personally have absolutely zero interest in just a plain reprint of the whole series anymore. Maybe if they were "enhanced" like the Mongoose edition Flight from the Dark.
When Joe was still alive, even though he was commited to re-releasing all the books back then, it was clear from his later interviews that he had mentally moved on to bigger and better things for the Lone Wolf IP, with the video game, the role-playing game, and so on. So long story short, I would actually be shocked if the whole series eventually got a reprint after all this debacle.
But of course it would only be fair for those who, like satchmoz said, have wrestled with this for a decade or more, and even then most of their collection being the trash-tier Mongoose editions, if they could at least be able to complete their collection.

If only that Mongoose mega-deal didn't finish like we know, now we'd have 6 novels and 29 books. Because the idea of that deal was great, books with bonus/expanded adventures and new novels. Unfortunately it didn't work out and here we are...

Just throwing in my support for a complete physical edition of LW in a consistent format. I agree that print on demand would be a great model for these books, and I would readily pledge for this on Kickstarter. Someone talk to Ben and get the ball rolling on this or something similar (assuming there aren’t already plans to bring these books back into print).

Aren't there print-on-demand platforms out there? Or did they all dry up? Back in the noughties I got the odd book or two on one called "Lulu", for instance.

Amazon has a self-published print-on-demand service. Global shipping, high visibility... seems like a no-brainer. I’ve ordered at least once from this service and it looked great (it was a kids book, can’t remember the name). Again, Ben & Vincent, if you are listening... people want this. I will buy all 32 LW collector’s editions through a service like this. kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G201514260

Lulu is alive and well, The italian gamebook collective (LGL) use it to print their releases. This and/or the Amazon service may be also a good option to print cheap paperback editions. Just noticed that Gary Chalk is on Lulu! www.lulu.com/shop/search.ep?keyWords=Gary+chalk&type=...and there goes my money LOL
