I have to ask, what's with all the multiple copies? Are you buying them to sell at a later date? Or do you sit in the dark stroking them, saying "My pecioussss" over and over? I have to admit to owning 6 copies of Flight from the Dark, but they are all different. Whilst most collectors collect based on editions and versions for the same title... my collection is based upon the condition of books.

Thanks. I had not considered holding on to lesser quality copies. If I buy a poorer quality one, I'll usually sell it when I have a better quality one.

Those be worth much in short fashion. Not that I'm buying the books for that reason, but they certainly go for A LOT later on.

Is Storms of Chai out of print now? I'm guessing so because it's $150 on Amazon. I'd consider buying #30 but not if I can't read the previous.

I believe so unfortunately. Though Ben Dever did say that he intends to print all books 1-32 in paperback form. Maybe buy the lovely hardback #30 now (with its excellent bonus adventure too), you could always sell it for $150 when it is out of print!

There are currently three copies of lw28 at eBay: A very brown/tanned copy being sold from Singapore at 1000usd at USA eBay: 5 upon 10 in condition A ex-lib book (signed by Joe Dever) being sold from UK at 1000 pound at UK eBay: 6 upon 10 in condition A copy with slight foxing being sold by miri_mum at Australian eBay: 7 upon 10 in condition. Crazy prices.... i am not buying any of these.

I wonder would Ben Dever be printing those bonus adventures in their softcover format?

Wow, that's huge news. Will help me preserve the quality of a signed hardback too.

It has not been made publicly announced yet, but Ben must have given the rights to PA, otherwise they would had not been working on it.
