I’m proud of the team for getting another book out. It must be a monumental effort for a small group. Supposedly a future publication schedule will be released soon, here’s what I’m hoping to see in 2020:
1. Lone Wolf CEs 25-26 2. LW 29 standard paperback edition (no bonus adventure) 3. LW 21-22 standard paperback 4. LW 1-5 paperback boxed set for the holidays
That’s ambitious for a year, but #2-3 are really necessary to bring lapsed readers back in on the current endeavor of finishing the series. I’m not sure I’d jump back in on LW30 if I didn’t already have 29, nor start at 23 if I didn’t have 21-22. The latter is slightly less problematic because of Project Aon, but if readers have to go to PA for books 21-22, why not just continue there? Print options really need to be made available asap. Of course what I really want is new paperbacks in English with those gorgeous Alberto Dal Lago covers, hence the wish for the holiday boxed set. I would give that set as a holiday gift to every kid I know (which, being a parent of three grade school aged children, is a considerable number). Those early books are pure magic and there’s still nothing like them in bookstores today.
Also, Ben commented in an interview about a year ago that Project Aon may have to come down eventually, and it makes sense that this would coincide with the re-release of standard editions. Hard to make money on something available for free online. Not sure if this is still in the works, but for those of us that use PA it may be time for a bit of downloading/archiving.

LW 21-22 standard paperback 4. LW 1-5 paperback boxed set for the holidays That's ambitious indeed and I don't think that is what Ben is planning. We got three books in 2019 (23, 24 and 30) and I think we can safely assumed that we will get at least two more next year (25 and 26). I think the focus for Ben is to complete the republication of the series in the Collector's Edition format (25 to 28) along with the two unpublished books (31 and 32). After that, it would be the republication of the extended editions but in paperback format, starting with book 1. So, with 2-3 books a year, we won't see books 21 and 22 before 7-8 years, and a few more years after that before the paperback version of 29.

I guess it all depends how the recent releases are selling. If they are doing reasonably well then Ben is unlikely to feel the need to get the 21, 22 and 29 paperbacks out the door asap. On the other hand, if 30, 23 and 24 are not selling well, it might pay to get the missing New Order books out to get people started. 21 and 22, however, are a bit of a slog and in my opinion (along with 27) probably the weakest of all the Lone Wolf books, so maybe they wouldn't help sales after all. Personally, I would still love to have a Holmgard Press Collector's edition of 21 and 22 as they would nicely complete the New Order set(along with the planned 25-28). The bonus adventures look pretty hefty too, in contrast to the rather slight offerings in the early Collector's editions. Oh, and I also would love to buy a set of the first five books with the lovely maps for my children (and others).

Just received Rune War and it is a fantastic quality (and very well packaged this time). Art on the cover and map is awesome and the bonus adventure is a stonking 270 sections long with illustrations. Very impressed indeed. It is a shame that there is no intention to do the same for the previously released inferior quality Mongoose Collectors editions, especially as there is a different bonus adventure in the Swedish edition of Dungeons of Torgar involving the war against Xanar and Warlord whatsisname who was defeated off-scene in the original books. Hopefully we will see some of the best bonus adventures released separately sometime.

I am not as sanguine as you. I doubt #1 to 4 will materialise in 2020 through mid-2021.

I just received my copy of Rune War. Nicely packaged in bubble wrap, but left on my front door step.

Magnamund.com was updated today with a product page for LW25 Collector’s Edition coming soon.... looking forward to this one, and also August Hahn’s bonus adventure. Glad to see the CE releases moving along at a steady pace!
Also, wow, Rune War is showing as sold out? Did not see that coming so quickly, must have been a lower print run than 23.

Great to hear that 25 is on its way. My personal favourite from the New Order books. I wonder if the bonus adventure will be the fourth 'Dire' adventure. Unfortunately I haven't read the first three having missed the original collector's edition release, but hey-ho, you snooze you lose as they say.

Glad to see the CE releases moving along at a steady pace! Nostalgia. Book 25 is the last book I actually managed to find in the real world (26 onwards I never even knew released until I started using the internet a couple of years later).

It lasted less than 3 months before sold out.

eBay is still selling lw24 hardcover at 50 pound.
3 times the amount at Dever Junior Website.

There are 3 main reasons why lw24 have been sold in less than 3 months:
1) very limited number of copies of lw24 being printed, possibly 1/4 of the number of copies of lw23.
2) some retailers at eBay (such as foxvalley) mass purchase Lw24 in hope to sell them at 200 pound each copy.
3) Dever Junior stockpile lw24 for future gains, hoping to sell them at higher prices.
It is ridiculous for the book to be sold in less than 3 months.

There are 3 main reasons why lw24 have been sold in less than 3 months: Of course, all this are suppositions by yourself (especially #3... Really?!?). So, my own supposition is that the most probable reason why it is sold out is this: books 23 and 30 are not sold out, despite the fact 30 is a brand new adventure never published before (which would had called for collectors to mass purchase them so they could sell at 200 pound each copy, just as you say). Since the more copies you print, the more money it costs you, I believe they didn't have enough money to print as many copies of 24 as of 23 and 30 all while working on 25 at the same time. 2) some retailers at eBay (such as foxvalley) mass purchase Lw24 in hope to sell them at 200 pound each copy. You complain about that but let me just remember you what you just posted on these forums. I ordered 8 copies of lw30
