Book VI: The Kindgoms of Terror
The first book of the Magnakai series. Generally well received by LW fans and overall a fairly balanced entry for the series. This walkthrough intends to provide the best chance of completing the Magnakai series (to Book 12). It uses the previous walkthroughs for Book I-V, and the following axioms apply:
• Kai discipline of Hunting loyalty bonus (no need for a Meal when instructed to eat within reason)
• Kai discipline of Healing loyalty bonus (+1EP per non-combat section/only restores damage received in combat)
• Use of Psi-surge in bow contest reduces LW’s EN by 2/use (not TP).
This walkthrough continues from the Book V walkthrough here, and depending on your initial CS and EP scores it is recommended you follow the colour indicated in the matrix below:
For Book VI, there are no major differences in the optimal path (although the Blue or Red paths will use one of their Alether potions when competing in the bow contest).
Admittedly there is a small caveat to this solution. Technically, an EP 20, CS 10/11 character is better off going for the Bronin Warhammer instead of the Duadon Bow. However, the improvement is so slight (<0.1% increase to chance of completing Book 1-12), that I don’t believe it is worth bothering with.
