The Kagonite Chainmail is at section 63. The Adgana is two sections later, at 145. In both case, you have to search the dead corpses of Drakkarim. The dead corpses come from two fights with Drakkarim: you have to kill them and not run away. However, to even get the chance to fight these Drakkarim, you pass by section 209 (there is no way to avoid that section). In that section, you have to pick a number on the RNT. But, as the text says: "For every Magnakai Discipline you possess above your initial three skills, add 1 to the number you have picked (for example, if you possess five Magnakai Disciplines, add 2 to the number you have picked)". So it means that, if you've played all the previous books, you have 11 Magnakai Disciplines and have to add 8 to the number you pick. To reach the portion of the story with the Adgana and Kagonite Chainmail, your total must be between 0-9. Otherwise, you skip the chance to pick these items. So better odds

Actually you start with 3 Powers and can get up to 6 by then, which means you get it if The RNG generator comes up A 0 to 3. So better odds Sorry, I got confused between the Magnakai (10) and Grand Master (12) Disciplines. Indeed, you must add 6 to your number, not 8 as I said. That's still only a 40% chance to get on the path to these items.
