Hey guys, I'm finishing up a fan fac for the LWERPG and I need to know whether or not they had zippers in Magnamund.
Actually, on a similar note, I need to know whether there are vampires besides Sejanoz.

Never saw any zippers mentioned anywhere. Not a very likely technology in a faux medieval world, I think. As for vampires, there was a thread either here or over at Tower of the Sun that discussed their existence in Magnamund, but for some reason I cannot finds it now... Anyway, the conclusion was that no, no traditional vampires - not even Sejanoz is really one. There are some blood sucking creatures out there though, like this little cutie.

I really hope that you didn't NEED to ask about an obviously modern technology like zips, but intended it as humour Vampires, and other undead, are probably people just granted a type of protected immortality by the Dark Powers. NS.

Hey, if the Darklords can have antigrav beams, they can have zippers. ;D

I think it's a fair bet to say that Sommerlund does not use zippers.

I stand corrected then. Chances are though that Magnamund still doesn't have them.
Grand Huntmastery (additional) - Kai Lords need no longer fear trapping their private parts in their zips after using the loo.
NS.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were around somewhere. After all, there's some serious technology in the Darklands sometimes, and the Dwarves have got some great stuff as well. However, I don't think I've ever heard about any in the books.

However, I don't think I've ever heard about any in the books. When I first played Lone Wolf, Castle Death, translated to Malay Language, the sky-ship is translated as Kapal Terbang, means aeroplane. ;D It was funny back then, but I had wrong interpretation of Magnamund. I thought the world is like what we could see in Highlander or Xyber 9. These series do show that people still used horses as transportation, although they acquire tehcnology. More over, the word powerful engine in section 1 Castle Death indicates as if the people on Magnamund do have advance technology. So I won't be surprised if there are zippers!

Well, I changed the design of the coat in question to have straps on the inside, with the buckles under a flap, so the coat appears to stay closed naturally. The character who wears the coat usually leaves it open, but the girl who gets it keeps it shut... or else her breasts would be exposed.

Psst2...hey zip..what creepy thingy that you choose as an avatar...~~ It surely shocked me to death hahah ;D It's a little bit ironic though as your nick is Zipp, but i don't see any zips around (is our Zipp and zip are the same?), or did I overlook you avatar, considering how long have I not logged in?

Well, seeing as I don't acutally have a picture of Zipp Dementia, I can't really post one of her. At the same token, I don't have any pictures of myself, either. Except ones of my naked torso that I took for a series of art projects, and I won't be so narcisistic (botched spelling?) as to imply that you want to see those.
I do occasionally look for pictures that resemble Zipp, if I finds a suitable one, I'll post it.
Just for you, I'll make my next avatar something special, though. Although I fear you may be staring at "Creepy White Girl" for a while.
Zipp, in a talkative, though contemplative, mood.
