So what is everyone's thoughts on the end of Lone Wolf? What do you think it will be? Will it be epic, reconnecting with older books and characters? Will it be marginal, just another victory for the kai? Will it end in success or failure? What are your thoughts on the matter? Any takers?
~Zipp, certain that it will get written one of these days

I'm not 100% sure of anything, but if I remember correctly, and take a few things into account, I think it will end with the new Kai Lord that you play in the NO series becoming the leader of the Kai when LW moves on to another plane to become some sort of god or demigod. I think there will be a couple of other loose ends tied up, and hopefully you'll get to rescue that cute girl that you left in Ghol-Tabras! ;D ~Relenoir, who is still just Relenoir.

The demi-god version is what we discussed at TotS, so it is not canon.Nothing official has been made by JD about the end of the series, except that it would be "beautiful, extremely beautiful" (that's what he said when he appeared at an italian gamers meeting).

I know that's more or less the storyline on TotS with WH becoming the new Supreme Master, etc. I thought it was mentioned somewhere by someone who'd gone to one of Joe's 'meet and greet' sessions last year as well. Maybe not. . .

Although it will take some time for P Aon to publish the books upto 28. Will JD finish the series and allow P Aon to publish them without them going into print first.

I think it could be sth. like the end of book 12. Heroic.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, what's in TOTS stated that there will be a "powerful meeting" between LW and GS, which is up to sth...dunno what else....

And in this meeting, Lone Wolf and Grey Star will merge, becoming Lone Star, and they will fly off into space and become a Galactic Marshal.

or maybe, they'll become Grey Wolf, and become an American Indian hero.
or maybe, lone wolf will travel to earth and become lone wolf mcquaid, as seen in the Chuck Norris movie of the same name.
Or maybe i'll just shut up now.

Hopefully the end, when it comes, is not so abrupt as book 28. WHat a shock that was. I mean we are used to things shocking us to the core on a regular basis, but... hey by the way this is the end... was a doozy. Perhaps an end that is clear about what you have achieved and how you have influenced the world you did all this work for in a couple of pages rather than a few paragraphs about how grateful everyone is. Tieing in the stories of other characters would be a nice touch too (ie greystar, banedon, etc etc).

We can only hope that Mongoose completely disregard all knowledge of the Conan cartoon, dreadful as it was.

You've got to love those cartoons with that whole "no allowing any real violence" thing. You just had to hit the Snake Men with the star metal, and they vanished. The chick with the boomerang shuriken should have owned all.
It just reminded me of how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were always fighting robots.

I think the End will be heroic. Lone Wolf will pass away in the inner circle of his Kai brethen, while each of whom will be beating him with rough clubs, for otherwise Lone Wolf will not die ;D
Now seriously...
Maybe he will move to a higher level of existence (like Alyss), and therefore he will be able to save one remaining Kai initiate after destroying Second Order of the Kai. The circle will be closed.

You know Lone Wolf is going to die doing some stupid prank while drunk on Bor Brew. He'll finally pick a 1 from the Random Number Table and fall from the top of the Tower of the Sun.
