Two more for ya.
1. I know what the newsletter says about the Kai Discipline of Huntmastery, but then why does the Magnakai discipline not give you the option of ignoring meals? I know it says you can always hunt in the flavor text, but no ruling for it is given. Any explanation?
2. How many arrows can quiver carry? Just six? Robin Hood would be very upset, not to mention Legolas or the Green Arrow.

1. Well, the flavor text for Hunting and Huntsmastery are very similar. I assume it's a loyalty bonus, that you'd only know you don't need to use meals if you've already played the Kai series.
2. Just 6 per quiver. Though it's implied a few times that you can carry multiple quivers. I'm assuming they are very, very small quivers, possibly with seperate compartments for each arrow to keep them from rattling around and making noise. I've yet to actually need 6 in one book, so I guess it's not too much of a restriction.

Yeah, as odd as it sounds that a Quiver can contain only 6 Arrows, that is what the text seems to indicate. I suppose Moo's on the right track with the fact that it's very rare to use that many Arrows in any one adventure.

Yes, Moo and outspaced are right about the arrow/quiver rule. For anyone who would like to read it in the books: TJoH, Section 168BTW, some ancient quivers seems to be made more for protection of the arrows and a quick access to them than holding lots of it. IIRC historical notes indicate that some quivers would store indeed not so many arrows. Maybe as less than around six to ten or twelve is common for some periods/cultures depending on the use the quiver was made for (Cavalry, Hunting, War, ...)

Thanks LHYS, I think I'll add that into the Rules FAQ.

My pleasure! - But credit goes to the one who first mentioned that section in an older thread. (It was just easier to look the section up than that other tread..)

If a bowcase is a backpack item, would that allow bows to be carried as backpack items? Feels like a neat house rule being on the way here...
