Hi, hope I don't get yelled at for asking this.
I downloaded the Statskeeper browser, but I don't like how you have to change all the time for character to inventory and back. I'd personally want it on one stats page.
Since I have some decent programming skills, could I modify Statskeeper for my personal use?
If not, it's ok. I don't really want to step on anyone's toes.

There already happens to be a Statskeeper replacement which may be more to your liking in the works. See the Project Aon blog (accessed via the PA homepage) for more on this. And another member recently announced that he'd been working on his own software to assist with playing the books. There are also one or two older projects discussed on the Auxiliary Creations board. You're also likely to find this thread in there once Thomas sees it. ;D Not that any of that should affect any project you may wish to start. The more of these programs the better, says I. Unfortunately, I'm not the creator of Statskeeper and don't know if it's actually open-source, as such. However I think you're more likely to be recruited than yelled at. We don't yell at each other on this forum.

Well... you never know. Some programmers are protective of their works.
And I'm definitely more than willing to help out, although my expertise is more in usability than coding, but I know enough to get by.
I like the new one, much more clean and more like I was working on designing it.

Thanks for taking an interest in the program.
Just to warn you, I created this program to further my knowledge in Flash at that moment (no OOP going on here). Almost everything is timeline-coded and rather messy. However, if you would like the source code to improve on it, by all means send me a pm. Due to personal issues, I will not be able to continue work on statskeeper for a long period of time, and I would appreciate it if work on it could be continued by someone else.
I'm also always looking to improve myself and my knowledge, so I wouldn't learning a thing or two from the pros as well, especially if it involves OOP for Flash.

I find that I can only see a part of a page & the far right side is completely unreadable-anyone else have these problems? Is there something i need to know about Flash? Old Statskeeper seems a lot more user-friendly.

hi it may be a long time since this thread is replied to so i decided to chip in something.
i just used the new flash statskeeper & finished book 8 which means i have 6 magnakai disciplines now. the problem is i have psi-surge, psi-screen, nexus & divination ticked but i don have the lore-circle of the spirit ticked! i do not have the +3 CS/+3 EP bonus & that is very important for the upcoming books. i wish all of you can help...

I'm using the new Statskeeper while the new Mongoose version of the books. Today, I've read book 6. The thing is as I'm selecting Magnakai Disciplines, the rank window displays the Kai ranks instead of the Magnakai ones. So even if I have Weaponmastery, Pathmanship and Psi-screen, I'm still ranked as a Doan (rank 3 in the Kai levels of training).

I've noticed that if you use the TAB button to move around the "Inventory ... Backpack" section, you'll be able to tab down until you reach the fourth slot. Then the tab sends you to the "Records ... Gold Crowns" and whatever you write will end up there.
