A few points (again) for the first four Books :
53) At 1-15 : To be added : "If you already came here and took the sword then you should consider that there is no other sword.".
34 Correction) At 2-276 : Footnote to be added : "Since you do not use any Weapon here, you cannot benefit from the Weaponskill Discipline. However you do not suffer any penalty for not using a Weapon in this contest. Moreover you do not have to lose 5 Gold Crowns if you lose this contest."
Moreover, written : "The first one to reach 0 ENDURANCE points, loses the match." However, depending on the Combat Ratio, there is a non-zero probability of simultaneous fail. Since Combat rules apply here, to be written : "If your ENDURANCE drops to 0 or below then you lose the match. Otherwise if the Sailor's ENDURANCE drops to 0 or below before yours, then you win the match."
54) At 4-79 : There are 5 Torches and you take one and light it. However written : "You can take as many additional Torches as you wish". To be written : "You can take up to four additional Torches".
54) At 4-213 : "Pickaxe" appears two times in this section. Unclear if it is a "Pick" you can use at 4-173, like the "Pick" you find at 4-322. To be replaced by : "Pick".
Book 5 coming soon, I hope so.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Last (hopefully) review of the Kai serie :
55) At 3-158 : To be added : "You should take note of the wound sustained by your enemy.".
56) At 3-68 : To be added : "If you already wounded this enemy then you should reduce its ENDURANCE accordingly.".
57) At 4-333 : To be added : "You should take note of the wound sustained by your enemy.".
58) At 3-241 : To be added : "If you already wounded this enemy then you should reduce its ENDURANCE accordingly.".
59) At 4-90 : To be added : "If you already wounded this enemy then you should reduce its ENDURANCE accordingly.".
60) At 5-2 : Unclear if the Gold Key should be registered on the Action Chart since you never use it anymore. To be added : "Remember to mark the Gold Key on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item." Or : "You do not need to record the Gold Key on your Action Chart" (in this case "Gold Key" to be replaced by "gold key").
61) At 5-3 : According to 5-98, a Sleep Dart is carried in a Belt Pouch, and 5-313 mentions a "Blowpipe and Sleep Dart". Thus it is unclear if the Blowpipe and the Sleep Dart take two separate places in the Backpack. To be added : "The Blowpipe and the Sleep Dart each takes one place in your Backpack." Or : "Record the Blowpipe and the Sleep Dart as a single Backpack Item."
62) At 5-101 : According to 5-98, a Sleep Dart is carried in a Belt Pouch, and 5-313 mentions a "Blowpipe and Sleep Dart".
63) At 5-384 : To be added : "Remember to erase the Sleep Dart from your Action Chart.".
64) At 5-398 : To be added : "Remember to erase the Sleep Dart from your Action Chart.".
65) At 5-4 : You take the Sword, then "sword" should be replaced by "Sword".
66) At 5-102 : To be added : "If you already took the Sword of a Gaoler then you should consider that there is no other one.".
67) At 5-63 : To be added : "You should already deduce 2 ENDURANCE points at the end of this section.".
68) At 5-205 : To be added : "Remember to erase the Rope from your Action Chart.".
69) At 5-211 : According to the text, a dose of Kourshah restores 2 ENDURANCE points. To be added : "You should consider that the Bottle of Kourshah contains 2 doses which restore 2 ENDURANCE points each.".
70) At 5-270 : You might have only one Backpack Item. Thus "If you have no Backpack Items" to be replaced by "If you have less than two Backpack Items".
71) At 5-329 : Written : "you can attempt". Thus "If you do not possess a Rope" to be replaced by : "If you do not possess a Rope or if you do not wish to use it".
72) At 5-331 : You might no longer have your Map at this point. To be added "If you no longer have a Map then you should consider that Banedon has one among his charts.".
73) At 5-334 : "avoid" to be replaced by "evade".
74) At 5-161 : You can arrive here from 5-135 and have fought enemies which were really trying to kill you. To be added : "This ENDURANCE restoration only concerns the points lost during your last fight."
Digression about rounding half-integer ENDURANCE points) If you have instructions from Joe Dever in the text, follow them. If not, follow mathematics, and there are two cases : - If you can still lose half-integer ENDURANCE points until the next full restoration point, then you should not round anything. - If you won't lose half-integer ENDURANCE points anymore until the next full restoration point, then round your ENDURANCE up for improving gameplay. Reason for the second case : Rounding it up does not increase your survival probability then it's not cheating, while rounding it down decreases your survival probability then it's self mutilation. Example for the second case : You have 16.5 ENDURANCE points and you can only lose integer points in the future. Then you can lose 16 EP and you'll still be alive. However if you lose 17 EP then you'll be dead. Thus having 16.5 EP is exactly the same as having 17 EP, and is different from having 16 EP. I already made the "round up" suggestion for 2-240 (point 33) and i'll make it again after the fight at 10-217. Concerning Book 5, there are two such cases (5-20 first and 5-135 second). Consequences :
75) At 5-20 : Written : "Restore half of any ENDURANCE points that you lose (fractions rounded down) during this combat if you win or evade (note what happens if you lose)." You should not round anything here and the direction toward 5-82 is not treated. Thus to be written : "Restore half of any ENDURANCE points that you lose during this combat if you win or evade or if the fight stops after 3 rounds (note what happens if you lose)."
76) At 5-135 : Written : "restore half of any ENDURANCE points you lost (rounding fractions down)" Wrong rounding. Thus to be written : "restore half of any ENDURANCE points you lost (rounding fractions up)"
77) At 5-13 : retarded rounding for 5-20. To be added : "If your ENDURANCE is half-integer now then round it up.".
78) At 5-69 : retarded rounding for 5-20 and 5-161. To be added : "If your ENDURANCE is half-integer now then round it up.".
79) At 5-145 : retarded rounding for 5-20. To be added : "If your ENDURANCE is half-integer now then round it up.".
80) At 5-164 : retarded rounding for 5-20. To be added : "If your ENDURANCE is half-integer now then round it up.".
Thanks in advance for your answers.

I found that :
1 update) Typo at 9-182 : "you cannot make use of a Weapon or Special ItemWeapon, weapon-like Special Item, or Shield". To be written : "you cannot make use of a Weapon, weapon-like Special Item, or Shield".
Then I double-checked the Kai serie for the use of a Shield :
81) At 4-153 : Unlikely that you had your Shield in hand while firing with a Bow and, if you don't have the time to take your Weapon, unlikely you have the time to take your Shield. To be added : "If you have a Shield, you should not consider being able to use it during the first two rounds of this fight.".
82) At 5-162 : It seems that you fight using only one arm (see the "limbdeath" part of this section and section 5-166). To be added : "You should consider that you can use neither a two-handed Weapon nor both a one-handed Weapon and a Shield in this situation.".
Made me think :
83) At 5-166 : To be added : "You should consider that you cannot use a two-handed Weapon as long as you are suffering from this disease.".
A question, by the way : Where does the footnote at 7-27 come from (or why an Oudakon should suffer the same penalty than a Dhorgaan) ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Sections 8-261, 8-268, 8-317, and 15-156 require the Herbs originating the Healing Potions to be identified. Some potions are not identified in the text. Since the most common Herb is Laumspur, it might be quite fair to assume these potions are based on this Herb. Then :
84) at 1-Equipment :
"Healing Potion (Backpack Item). This can restore 4 ENDURANCE points to your total, when swallowed after combat. There is only enough for one dose." to be replaced by : "Potion of Laumspur (Backpack Items). This restores 4 ENDURANCE points to your total when swallowed after combat. There is only enough for one dose."
"Healing Potion—carried in the Backpack." to be replaced by : "Potion of Laumspur—carried in the Backpack."
"Healing Potion This can restore 4 ENDURANCE points to your total when swallowed after combat. It cannot be used to increase ENDURANCE points immediately prior to a combat. There is only enough for one dose. If you discover any other potions during the adventure, you will be told then of their effect. All Healing Potions are Backpack Items." to be replaced by : "Potion of Laumspur This is a healing potion that can restore 4 ENDURANCE points to your total when swallowed after combat. It cannot be used to increase ENDURANCE points immediately prior to a combat. There is only enough for one dose. If you discover any other potions during the adventure, you will be informed of their effect. All potions are Backpack Items."
85) at 2-Equipment : same as (84).
86) at 2-15 : "Healing Potion" to be replaced by "Potion of Laumspur".
87) at 2-302 : "Healing Potion" to be replaced by "Potion of Laumspur".
88) at 8-261, 8-268, or 8-317 : Potions less effective than Laumspur don't seem to work here, but what about Taunor Water ?
89) at 15-156 : To be added : "You should erase all Healing potions except Oede.".
90) Talking about the 15-156 situation : At 14-76, the Green Key is referred as a Backpack Item (either change it to a Special Item). At 14-276, the Green Key is referred as a Special Item (or change it to a Backpack Item). Book 15 gives no indication about its nature.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

5 update) At 16-82 : Written : "If you have a Bow, you may still keep it.If you have a Bow or any weapon-like Special Items, you may still keep them." To be written : "If you have a Bow or any weapon-like Special Items, you may still keep them."
91) Maybe typo at the second choice of 18-280 : "ever" to replaced by "never" ?
92) At 20-50 : To be added for the Korlinium Scabbard according to 12-282, 17-194, and 20-341 : "You need not discard another item in its favour if you already carry the maximum permissible."
93) At 7-15 : According to 16-45, 17-282, 19-302, 20-89, and 20-296 : "A limitation of the number of Special Items will be introduced in further Books. However many sections in the Grand Master serie indicates that a Platinum Amulet is not concerned by this limitation. Thus you need not discard another item in its favour if you already carry the maximum permissible."
Most Maps obtained at the Equipment sections don't have any specifications, and then have to be considered as Backpack Items. It leads to paradoxal situations in books in which you can lose Backpack Items and you have a mandatory use of this Map afterwards. In these books, the corresponding Map should be an Extra-12 Special Item. Such situations appear at 17-213, 17-322, 19-18, 19-210, 19-251, and 19-320. Then : 94) At 17-Equipment : "Record this Map as a Special Item on your Action Chart. You need not discard another item in its favour if you already possess the maximum number permissible." 95) At 19-Equipment : "Record this Map as a Special Item on your Action Chart. You need not discard another item in its favour if you already possess the maximum number permissible."
According to 17-220, if you do not have the Sommerswerd, a Dessi Stone will fitted into the hilt of one of your normal Weapons. 96) At 17-75 : This Weapon might be destroyed, but what happens to the Dessi Stone in that case ? Is it destroyed as well ? Can you recover it as an Item ? Which type of Item ? Can you fit it in another Weapon ? Can you fit it in the Power Spike ? Will you be able to use it in further books (up to the fight against Kekataag at the end of Book 20) ?
EDIT : At 17-220, can you fit it into one of your Special Weapons (Dagger of Vashna, Jewelled Mace, Helshezag) ? At 17-15, would this augmented Special Weapon also be destroyed ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

About the list of authorized Special Items during the Magnakai-Grand Master transition and about section 18-339
A) Special Items available from Books 1 to 12 and at 18-339:
A1) Authorized Armours and Special Weapons: - Dagger of Vashna - Jewelled Mace - Helshezag - Kagonite Chainmail - Silver Bow of Duadon - Silver Bracers - Silver Helm - Sommerswerd
A2) Unauthorized, non cited, Armours and Special Weapons: - Bronin Vest - Bronin Warhammer - Chainmail Waistcoat - Magic Spear - Padded Leather Waistcoat - Shield
A3) Unauthorized Armour, reappearing without its Armour properties: - Helmet (Found in Books 1 and 7 and, without any sense, 18)
A4) New "Armour" without Armour properties: - Breastplate (Found, without any sense, in Book 18)
A5) Authorized, cited, other Special Item: - Korlinium Scabbard (Found in Book 12 and 17 and 20)
A6) Unauthorized, however cited, other Special Items: - Quivers and Arrows (Found in all Books from 6 to 20, strange that you can carry your Bow and Silver Bow but not your Quivers and Arrows, maybe the Bowstring of Duadon is only destined to dry your Kai Cloak after washing after all) - Platinum Amulet (Found in Book 7, useless in the Grand Master serie until its mandatory reacquisition in Book 16, note that it should only be used when explicitly mentionned by the text in the Magnakai serie, just as it is in the Grand Master serie) - Ruby Ring (Found in Books 6 and 19, can be sold in Book 6, useless after Book 6) - Silver Rod (Found in Books 11 and 15, useful in Book 15)
A7) Unauthorized, non cited, however with cited usage, other Special Item: - Firesphere (Found in Book 3, useful from Books 3 to 12 in any instance when a Lantern or a Tinderbox and a Torch is useful, one single such use at 14-223 in Books 13 to 20)
A8) Authorized, however never even cited, other Special Item: - Crystal Star Pendant (not cited in the Grand Master serie)
A9) Unauthorized, non cited, useless after Book 12, other Special Items: - Any other Special Item found from Books 1 to 12 (not cited in the Grand Master serie)

C) Corresponding modifications:
97) Authorized list in Books 13 to 20: Delete the Crystal Star Pendant. Add the Firesphere, the Quivers and Arrows, the Platinum Amulet, the Ruby Ring, and the Silver Rod.
98) At 14-94: "If you possess a Lantern, or a Torch and a Tinderbox" to be replaced by "If you possess a Firesphere, a Lantern, or a Torch and a Tinderbox"
99) At 14-192: "If you possess a Lantern, or a Torch and a Tinderbox" to be replaced by "If you possess a Firesphere, a Lantern, or a Torch and a Tinderbox"
100) At 14-223: "Remember to erase the Lantern or Torch from your Action Chart." to be replaced by "Remember to erase the Firesphere, Lantern, or Torch from your Action Chart."
101) At 7-15: "which you wear on your wrist" to be replaced by "which you wear on a cord around your neck"
102) At 7-15: "It will protect you from injury due to exposure to high temperatures." to be replaced by "It will protect you."
103) At 7-15: "Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet" to be restored as "Platinum Amulet"
104) At 7-90: "Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet" to be restored as "Platinum Amulet"
105) At 9-342: Remove Footnote 17 : "It is unclear whether a Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet should protect you in this situation in lieu of the Discipline of Nexus."
106) At 10-106: Remove Footnote 4 : "It is unclear whether a Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet should protect you in this situation in lieu of the Discipline of Nexus."
107) At 11-62: Remove Footnote 5 : "It is unclear whether a Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet should protect you in this situation in lieu of the Discipline of Nexus."
108) At 11-95: Remove Footnote 6 : "It is unclear whether a Kazan-Oud Platinum Amulet should protect you in this situation in lieu of the Discipline of Nexus."
109) At 16-45: "Record this Platinum Amulet" to be replaced by "If you do not already wear a Platinum Amulet, record this Platinum Amulet"
110) At 18-339: Remove the Helmet and the Breastplate from the list of available Items, and remove the footnote (UrQuan, and maybe some others, already wrote something about that footnote).
Thanks in advance for your answers.

83-correction) At 5-166 : Written : "you cannot use a shield of any sort." You might have a Shield and no Weapon, in which case you could use the Shield. Then to be written : "you can use neither both a one-handed Weapon and a Shield at the same time nor a two-handed Weapon.".
68-correction) At 5-305 : To be added : "Remember to erase the Rope from your Action Chart.".
Review of non-standard use of Psi-surge in the Magnakai serie : -No Endurance loss : 6-186, 7-180, 8-25, 8-84, 8-250, 9-84, 10-139, 12-17. -Endurance loss : 7-134 (-4 EP combined with Psi-screen), 7-190 (-2 EP), 9-47 (-2 EP), 10-281 (random EP loss). -Psychic Fights : 8-74 and 11-270.
15-correction) 7-180 is the only section stating : "(If you used the Magnakai Discipline of Psi-surge, you need not deduct any ENDURANCE points from your current total.)" For consistency : either add this sentence at 6-186, 8-25, 8-84, 8-250, 9-84, 10-139, and 12-17 or delete this sentence from 7-180.
111) Does the sentence "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Psi-surge" mean "If you have Psi-surge no matter what is your ENDURANCE" or "If you have Psi-surge and enough ENDURANCE points to use it" ? I assume the second applies, otherwise a mandatory use of Psi-surge would simply be a suicide if you lose some additional EP. Then at 6-259, 7-13, 7-179, 7-265, 8-49, 8-79, 8-260, 8-315, 9-134, 9-248, 10-107, 10-248, 11-79, 11-81, 11-336, 12-200 : "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Psi-surge" to be replaced by : "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Psi-surge and enough ENDURANCE points to use it"
112) At 8-74 : Written : "You are unable to make use of any Special Items, Weapons, or Backpack Items." to be replaced by "You are unable to make use of any Shield, Weapon-like Special Items, Weapons, or Backpack Items."
113) At 11-270 : Written : "Any bonuses to ENDURANCE due to armour should likewise not be applied during this combat." Well consider a player whose maximum endurance is M without any armour, who have an armour providing A points, and a current endurance E (which might be far below M after the Chaos Master fight). Either please explain how he can neglect the effect of the armour. Or delete this sentence (it won't make Book 11 a much easier Book anyway).
Thanks in advance for your answers.

On to the Magnakai Quest. Since there is no answer from the Staff to my previous posts, I sometimes wonder whether what I'm doing is useful or not. It would be especially useful, for my consistency checkings, to know which suggestions were rejected and why. That would probably spare me a lot of time.
114) At 6-8: I don't know the original wording, but this one is redundant with 6-16 (you would note 2 Maps of Varetta on your Action Chart). Written: "You discover a pouch containing 10 Gold Crowns, a Potion of Laumspur (enough to restore 3 ENDURANCE points), and a Map of Varetta. Mark this as a Special Item on your Action Chart. You may take any of these items if you wish and leave this eerie shop.". Moreover 6-16 suggest that picking the Map of Varetta at 6-8 is mandatory. The wording of 6-165 or 6-193 is not redundant with 6-16. To be written: You discover a pouch containing 10 Gold Crowns and a Potion of Laumspur (enough to restore 3 ENDURANCE points). You may take any of these items if you wish. You also pick up a Map of Varetta and leave this eerie shop.".
115) At 6-17: Written footnote: "If you cannot afford to pay for a room, the tavern-keeper will accept one Backpack Item or Weapon in lieu of payment for a night in the dormitory.". To be written for consistency with 6-76: "If you need some Gold Crowns, you can sell some of your Equipment to a mercenary for the prices indicated at Section 76.".
116) At 6-76: You might sell only 1 dagger (options 1 and 2). Written: "If you wish to keep your equipment, or if you do not have items of interest to the mercenary,". To be written: "If you wish to keep your equipment, if you do not have items of interest to the mercenary, or if you have not collected at least two Gold Crowns,".
117) At 6-79: It is randomly possible to wander eternally in Varetta, meeting always the same people, and always talking to them like if it is the first time: 79->291->177 (random)->25->105->79->291->177 (random)->25->...Non sense. Written: "If you wish to stop and ask them the way to Brass Street". To be written: "If you never met the city criers and wish to stop and ask the mercenaries the way to Brass Street".
118) At 6-98: Written footnote: "The shop owner will buy 4 Arrows for 1 Gold Crown". You can probably sell less than 4 Arrows and, with mercenaries coming from everywhere, there might be Lune around here. To be added: ", that is 1 Arrow for 1 Lune".
119) At 6-132: To be added: "You could also consider giving 1 Special Item and 10 Gold Crowns.".
120) At 6-135: Written: "If you wish to ignore her and continue along the street". To be written: "If you wish to ignore her and continue along the street, or if you do not have any Gold Crown". Or footnote to be added: "Guessing you will soon have to pay for a room, you should only turn to 333 if you have at least two Gold Crowns" and the footnote at 6-17 can be removed.
121) At 6-148: To be added: "You could also consider giving 1 Special Item and 10 Gold Crowns.".
122) At 6-155: Written: "At the start of the second round, you may draw a weapon (if you have one)". To be written: "After the first round, you may use a Weapon or a Weapon-like Special Item, and a Shield"
123) At 6-156: To be added: "You should consider that Mindblast, a Shield, and the Silver Helm are of no use against the Sewer Door.".
124) At 6-201: Written: "You may fight this combat with any weapon except a Bow.". You can also use a Weapon-like Special Item. For consistency with many other sections: "You cannot make use of a Bow.".
125) At 6-210: Written: "If you wish to take the glass jar and collect some Taunor Water, turn to 63.". Having the Jar will be a necessity to collect it and 6-63, 6-65, 6-106, 6-112, 6-190, and 6-246 assume you have it. To be written: "If you wish to take the glass Jar and collect some Taunor Water, mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item and turn to 63 (you should discard another Backpack Item in favour of this one if you already carry the maximum permitted).". 126) Then at 6-65: Written: "mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item". To be added: "in lieu of the Jar". 127) Then at 6-106: Written: "mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item". To be added: "in lieu of the Jar". 128) Then at 6-112: Written: "mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item". To be added: "in lieu of the Jar". 129) Then at 6-246: Written: "Remember to mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item". To be added: "in lieu of the Jar". 130) Then at 6-190 : to be added (same as 6-246): "(Remember to mark it on your Action Chart as a Backpack Item in lieu of the Jar.)".
131) At 6-232 : Written footnote: "You should deduct the Meal from your Backpack immediately if you decide to head to your room. The ensuing sections will make it clear why this is so.". This footnote should not be placed here since the possible deduction of 3 EP will interfer with the possible fight against Roark at 6-78. Suggestion : discard this footnote. 132) Then at 6-119: To be written: "If you decided to eat a Meal from your Backpack, you should do it now or deduct 3 ENDURANCE points.". 133) Then at 6-319: To be written: "If you decided to eat a Meal from your Backpack, you should do it now or deduct 3 ENDURANCE points.".
134) At 6-248: The first choice is optional, so the second should be optional as well. Written: "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Invisibility". To be written: "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Invisibility and wish to use it".
135) At 6-252: To be added (similar to 6-103 and 6-183): "If you have used a borrowed bow for the tournament, you must return it to the tent before making your way back to Cyrilus.".
136) At 6-253: The first choice is optional, so the second should be optional as well. Written: "If you do not have enough Gold Crowns to pay for a room". To be written: "If you do not wish to pay for a room or if you do not have enough Gold Crowns to do so".
137) At 6-279: Written: "If you wish to stake some Gold Crowns". To be written: "If you have any Gold Crown and wish to stake some".
138) At 6-284: You could quit during the game while having lost all your Gold Crowns (options 1 and 3). The priority of option 3 is more consistent with the storyline. Written: "If you quit during the event, turn to 336.". To be written: "If you quit during the event and have not lost all of your Gold Crowns , turn to 336.".
139) At 6-293: To be added for consistency with several other sections in Books 7 to 12: "(Restore your ENDURANCE to its initial level).".
140) At 6-317: Written: "Pick a number from the Random Number Table. If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Divination or Huntmastery, subtract 5 from the number you have picked. If your total is now 6 or less, turn to 85. If your total is now 7 or higher, turn to 153.". Even a substraction of only 3 will direct you towards 6-85. Then to be written: "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of Divination or Huntmastery, turn to 85. Otherwise pick a number from the Random Number Table. If the number is 6 or less, turn to 85. If the number is 7 or higher, turn to 153.".
141) At 6-332 : Written: "If you do not have any Gold Crowns, turn to 91". However you will soon have a mandatory use of 3 GC (at 6-232) or 5 GC (at 6-172) and you might not collect any GC up to these points. To be written: "If you have less than five Gold Crowns, turn to 91".
142) At 6-342: To be added (similar to 6-250): ", or if you cannot afford to buy any,".
Thanks in advance four your eventual answers.

We are tracking these, so please continue! We've recently begun tracking outstanding errata using Trello (of which I know nothing) so things might seem to be a little slow right now, but we are listening. Sorry for not responding previously.

Hi there! I hope this is the correct thread to post this The Caverns of Kalte, section 271, reads: "lies face downwards in the snow, less, than ten feet away." The comma should go away, it should be: "lies face downwards in the snow, less than ten feet away." Thanks for all the work!

29 (Storms of Chai), There is no map in the map section, despite the copyright info correctly stating Francesco Mattioli. Permissions still being awaited?
the Action Chart provided is not the one in the book, and is inaccurate to number of disciplines available. One extra was inserted by Joe Dever between 28 and 29. The printed book allows for five starting. The action chart provided here uses the older of 4 from the first edition NO books.
Once this has been scanned, could the Bearer of This Scroll from that book and the new Action Chart also be added to the Action Chart pack?

On to the Magnakai Quest. Since there is no answer from the Staff to my previous posts, I sometimes wonder whether what I'm doing is useful or not. It would be especially useful, for my consistency checkings, to know which suggestions were rejected and why. That would probably spare me a lot of time. ... Thanks in advance four your eventual answers. Wow. This and previous (and probably upcoming) picks are quite exhaustive. I am not in charge of the books, errors or corrections. I was just an error-pointer-outer like yourself. I would just like to note that one of my personal pleasures of playing and replaying and replaying Joe Dever is a base level of fluidity. The reader/player makes choices based on their action chart, listed choices and, most importantly, a little bit of imagination. I am personally a little uncomfortable with the changes suggested around gameplay. Though they are logically correct, I would like to be more trusting of the player and leave it to them to make the right choice when possible, or choose the lesser sin when not possible (e.g., if you are forced to spend 5 Gold to stay in an accommodation but don't have any Gold, what do you do? As a player, I tell myself I am forced to sleep outside. If I have Huntmastery, I may choose to deduct 1EP for the strain. If I don't have Huntmastery, I may choose to deduct 3EP. If I have Animal Mastery, I may 'call upon' a guardian animal to watch over me while I sleep. Or, if I have Invisibility, I can 'sneak into' a room for a night, or 'steal' 5 coins from the till. Or do I just backtrack in the book and start over?) These choices we make are based on our personality. Such use of the imagination make the games much more pleasurable for me and I would request that before such changes are made, serious consideration is given to the player's experience and intelligence. These omissions/oversights force me to use my imagination and creativity. If every rule is pointed out, the games become a bit too rigid, in my opinion. Thank you.

Buccaners of Shadaki: 25
Paragraph 2: A mighty wave crashes against the prow and Gemulkin’s courageous action saves the Vargas from being split it two. Correction: "split it two" should be "split in two."

On page 147 of the PDF file of the Newsletters, in the "Summer Special 1987", section "The Companion Postscript": The Zultanate of COLEASIA (instead of Cloeasia) -> I don't know if it was a typo from the original newsletter that you've decided to keep or if you've just missed it.
