Up until a few days ago I had never even read the Legends series. Now what I want to be able to read is the New Order series. I have wanted to read those forever. I've only read up through book 17 so as you can imagine I am very excited about the last three.

A sweet new series would be Kai GrandMaster Lone Wolf's quest for Godhood. Alyss could be his sponser. This could be quite a few books right here: 6 - 8 at least.
A series following could chronicle Lone Wolf as an immortal, raising through the ranks to finally replace the great God Kai.
New Order series WAS cool, but I miss raising Lone Wolf's power levels. He is AWESOME! Greatness in the light of godhood was meant for him.

A series following could chronicle Lone Wolf as an immortal, raising through the ranks to finally replace the great God Kai. Where would be the fun in that series? It would be boring to always win and never die. Being immortal would mean that he couldn't fail any mission. So, I'm asking you: where would be the fun? You would just read section one and then go directly to section 350 because you know that he will succeed.

You're probably all aware of this, but there is a place you can go and write stories, if not gamebooks, based on LW. That's right, it's the LW-ERPG, which I am a part of, and have had a lot of fun participating in. It's going through a bit of a slow period now, but that's due to the state of the world in general and, um, finals. Anyways, here's the link for anyone interested. www.algonet.se/~thyhe/

It would be a big challenge to make it work as a game, but even immortals can fail. Like getting trapped in another universe, or getting your butt kicked by an even bigger god. Or like people could stop worshipping you and you would get all sad and stuff.

It's called Act Raiser and you play as a god, sending lightnings on houses, killing people with earthquakes, etc. But you also fight against an evil god and, yes, you can fail. Anyone know that game?

Yeah, I remember that, it's pretty old. It also had a sequel IIRC.

Great game. Also, little known fact, it has one sort've-sequel and is also part of a four-ligy of games that are connected in time line and universe only. Actriaser 1, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terromega.

Yeah, I was wondering about the term.

Me too! Had a lot of fun with that one, years ago. Enjoyed frying things with lightning to make it come back more evolved!

Hello! I am seriously considering writing some new Lone Wolf books. These will be loving works of "fan-fiction" if you like, but each will be a full-fledged novel that will aspire to stay true to the original kai and magnakai adventures. I thought it would be really cool to create these books in the same format as the Project-Aon books. Would it be OK for me to copy the page layout to this end? My thinking is that this way my book will look like a Project Aon book, matching in appearance, etc.
Of course, this is a long-term project, but I think it stands the best chance of completion if I keep in touch with the great fans of Aon!

Sol, did you ever go to the LWERPG? I know I advertise for them all the time, but if you haven't gone, you should defenitely check it out. www.algonet.se/~thyhe/Also, I am working on a Gamebook. Not Lone Wolf, though. Futuristic, in which you play as a cybernetic spy, called a Silencer. I'm working out game rules right now.

There's more than just the page layout you can reuse if you like. I'll get back to you with info on the technical machinery of our publication process!

Thomas,
Thank you! I have updated my profile with my email address so you can send anything you like there. I will also see what John Blake thinks. I will probably start by posting my work on my own web site for starters. If there is an interest by Project Aon to include it as an offering on this site, that can be done as I finish each book. I don't want to spoil anything yet by saying too much, but I am thinking about 4 books right now - still developing the ideas right now - but my thought is that when I start writing these, if I use the Aon format from the start, it will be less work later. Each work will be 350 sections like Joe's.
A little synopsis:
"It has been said that in future times the chronicle would tell of adventures you undertook during your Kai Grand Mastership. That future time is now, and this is that chronicle.
"YOU are Lone Wolf! As Kai Grand Master, you have begun the daunting task of restoring the Kai to their former glory. Yet out of darkness, a hidden evil has arisen, intent upon crushing your infant New Order by destroying the only one who can ensure its survival... you!
"Instilled with the might first granted to Sun Eagle over one thousand years ago, you embark upon a new quest - a quest that will not only ensure the continued well-being of the New Order in times to come, but will also test your new-found Kai GrandMastery to the maximum.
"If you survive, you may use your skills and equipment in future adventures.
"For Sommerlund and the Kai!"
