Everyone who is apart of the Lone Wolf Yahoo Mailing List just got sent an email that portrays a new game, Lone Wolf Online. Apparently Lone Wolf is going to be made into a Mass-multiplayer Online Role-playing game. I personally find this hard to believe. It is as if one of my great dreams is coming true. Someone pinch me now! My head tells me this is a hoax but my heart says otherwise...could this be a rebirth of Lone Wolf. Let's face it. The Lone Wolf RPG in itself was far too good to be true. And this far exceeds the RPG. If this is factual and really going into affect the young world of today will be introduced to Lone Wolf. I know I'm prolly taking this too far but this could lead to a reprint of the series. Just maybe. It is a far stretch but I've seen weirder things happen. Cheers to those of us who have been there for Lone Wolf all along. Long live the Kai!

Well, I'll probably be left out of such a game....unless BellSouth decides to give DSL to rural customers sometime this century.... Still, it is great news. And perhaps by the time such a game does hit the shelves, I'll have something besides a 28.8 dialup. KL

Warning : I've seen this LW Online message on another forum and I've seen this guy rescind (erase) his post when suspicion arose. It may be legitimate, but since the message asks for 100$ "investments" in the project, things may not be what they seem.
Or they may be EXACTLY what they seem, if you get my drift.

I had much the same suspicions. (It doesn't look too professional, now does it?) He claims to have Mongoose on board - this provides a fairly straightforward way to investigate, if anyone who's a regular on the Mongoose boards would care to ask?

Matt Sprange did indeed send an email stating they were in negotianiations over the yahoo mail list. Plus i have posted over on Mongoose's Lone Wolf site but have not received official confirmation there yet.

The post you mentioned was deleted since I recently found some legal stuff saying that I have the right to look for investors, but in a discreet way - the company is based in France and they are picky about public announcements asking people to contribute financially to a projet. I'll find a way to make a more proper announcement on the upcoming official website - my lawyer is working on another text. I still need all the help i can have on this project - it's not only about money, so feel free to contact me to see how you could help.

Does that mean that you'd like to have the one posted here deleted as well? Hmm on the wrong board... fixed.Tip: If you had registered before posting you could have done it yourself.

We can leave the one that is here - I can adress investors, but in a small community or to people that know what the project is about (the law is a bit unclear on that in France) - I believe that the folks here on Aon represent that kind of target - It's not like as if I announced it worldwide on my future corporate website (which i won't do)
