I just stumbled over an official trailer of the upcoming Lone Wolf Online game. Go see it at the official website in the download section. www.lonewolf-online.com/It's 3:57 min long but it is a very huge video (41 MB), so the people with a slow internet connection will have to be really patient (It took 8 minutes to download with my high speed connection). edit: Argh, I don't know what's happening: the video is actually playing, but every time the camera moves, the image becomes a big bunch of colored squares. When the camera is steady, the characters that are moving become big bunches of colored squares. I guess that I have a problem with my video card. But from what I got a glimpse of (mostly, the unmoving backgrounds), it seems very cool. The music sounds good also.

You need a DIVX codec my friend. If you have one already (5.0 I think), then I don't know what the problem is.
And people on slow connections (like me...took 1.5 hours to get a measely 13.1 megs of it) need not bother to look...after all, we won't be able to play it when it comes out, so why bother dreaming needlessly?

I had DivX 4.2 and I downloaded the new version and it's working great. The movie is good, although the characters are repeating the same moves over and over again. Oh, BTW, the Drakkar uses the dual weapon system! It doesn't seem to give him an advantage though...

Woah, hang on. Hands up anyone who's played Morrowind? Watch the trailer and pay attention when it swings around the stern of the boat. See there on the sail? Looks rather like upside-down Daedric letters, doesn't it? In fact, now that I check my Morrowind notes, it definitely seems to be "MAGNAMUND STUDIO" in Daedric letters. Tch. Did they think they could get that one past us? At least it shows that someone there has good taste in games...

The Lone Wolf site isn't loading for me. What's the story behind it, anyway? Is it a MMORPG?
I hadn't heard of it till now. And why won't we be able to play it?

The Lone Wolf site isn't loading for me. What's the story behind it, anyway? Is it a MMORPG? Yes it is, but there's not a lot of details about it right now. It was announced last August, and so the game is still in development. As for why you won't be able to play it, I don't know too much about computers, so I can't help you, sorry.

Kai Lord is talking about people with dial-up internet, most likely you will need broadband to avoid huge lag which would make the game unplayable due to very low frame rates.

Ah, the classic issues. Well, I have a MAC anyways, and because of Microsoft and it's evil empire, no games get released for it... even though half of them are designed on a MAC.
