Well, I'll explain next time I am online... maybe if people keep suggesting things, I'll edit the stats further.

Let me also say that I think what you're doing is cool. I'll support anyone who tries to write their own gamebook.

Ok, I'd rather do the combat system this way:
Round 1: Enemy's Turn:
Enemy HP: 28 Wolf Gray's HP: 38
Enemy Combat: 30 Wolf Gray Defend: 22
Enemy damages Wolf Gray for 8!
Wolf Gray's Turn: Enemy HP: 28 Wolf Gray's HP: 30
Wolf Gray's Attack: 36 Enemy's Defend: 28
Wolf Gray damages Enemy for 8!
End of Round 1.
You keep battling until one of you is a victor. What do you all think about this battle Plan?

Well, it sounds good the way you put it, but how are you coming up with defense scores? Is it one simple roll of the dice? Or do you have to factor in a ton of stats?

Ok, what ya do is this:
Let's say Wild Boar appeared and you have no chance of evading. Then you have to battle to the death. Then the Wild Boar's Name and Stats would appear like this (along with yours, but yours won't show like this in the game book. It's shown so you can understand.
Wild Boar Combat: 34 Defend: 27 HP: 27 MP: 0 Immune To: Unknown! Weakest To: Unknown! Notes: It's giant teeth adds 10 points to the combat!
Wolf Gray: Combat: 36 Defend: 28 HP: 33 MP: 33 Immune To: Nothing Weakest To: Nothing Notes: Magic Helm reduces attack damage by 2!
Then you take the Combat Skill and subtract it from your defend collumn. This is the damage done to you!
Round 1:
Wild Boar attacks! Wolf Gray took 6 damage!
Wolf Gray attacks! Wild Boar Took 9 damage!
That's a real example. The Shaluti Skills I haven't made yet!

Mainly just simply go at rounds fighting by subtracting each others defend from the other's attack. Then soon you will be the victor

One thing about this is that it leaves nothing to chance. In fact, I don't even have to fight the battle. By looking at the combat and defense as compared to my own, I'll know whether or not I'm screwed from the get go, how much life I lose, etc. I don't need to play out each round. I would say that if you're going for rounds, then you need to add in some random element, so that fighting doesn't become simple mathematics.
Also, if you've already given the Wild Boar +10 combat for large teeth, I wouldn't include the bonus in the notes. That's confusing. Include maybe some interesting facts instead, lke their habits, mode of attack, etc.

It really sounds like it would kill you off pretty quickly. If you are low on HP in most gamebooks, you still have a chance if you roll well, but this seems like if you end up in more than a couple fights in the book, you're dead. That may have been what Zipp was trying to say, so I'm probably just reiterating. Good luck with the books though, it's more of an undertaking than I've ever attempted!

Well, that was only a sample... so... who knows... maybe there will be tougher monsters.

But how does this solve the problem of the simple mathmatics? I'm saying that every round will be exactly the same. Not every fight, but every round of an individual fight. Unless there's some way to add or reduce damage every round, either by rolling a dice or using specials, then you might as well make each fight one round long as simply tell us who wins.
What Relenoir was saying was that the fights also seem like they'd be very hard, that after a few combats you'd be in no shape to participate in any more.

I edited my current Gamebook. And added the Random Number Table. Also the title of the first Gamebook is called "The Search For The Brute Warriors" so, please check often.

I still don't get it. Your website (the link in your signature) only contains the "story so far" and the (incomplete) rules. What do you mean when you say you "edited" your first gamebook? Where is it? Could you link to it directly?
