Hi I just read the first book of Ronan's Lone Wolf Saga and i'm very impressed ! For info, i 'm from Belgium and my mother langage is french, so I read the translation from Oiseau... Great Job !
As I 'm starting the second one, I would like to know when will the third volume of the sage become available ? Is the writing of this saga stop (the last issue was september 2004) ?
Can you tell me if there is other fan fiction saga in the same vein ?

Sorry I can't answer your actual query, but let me be the first person to welcome you to Project Aon. Hope you stay long and have a great time!

Thanks North Star... I think I will often come back here...
Perhaps Ronan, himself, can answer my question...

He (like me) doesn't spend much time here or at TotS anymore--our time is drawn away by the online RPG we both run.
The best bet to get a quick answer would be to email him directly.

Which is a fun RPG to follow, by the by. I'm thinking of jumping on one of those some day, though I still like the headache inducing banter of a room full of screaming RPGers, all decimating the house of the poor sap who decided to be host.

Sorry Zipp, I'm not usually an anally-retentive Grammarian, but misues of the word 'decimate' sets my teeth on edge! To decimate means to 'reduce a group or population by 1/10' (usually through death), or 'to kill a large number of living creatures'. It shouldn't really be applied to anything non-living. If I learned one thing from my half-finished proofreading course, it was that certain words--decimate being one of them--are thoroughly misused and it should be stopped!

To decimate means to 'reduce a group or population by 1/10' (usually through death) If anyone doesn't know, the term originates with the Roman Empire and refers to the penalty for mutinous legions.

Feel free to correct me once or twice a month There are a lot of misused works in American English. It's like using the word pretty in the following manner: "It was pretty good/cool/awesome." Pretty is an adjective, whether you believe it or not.

Pretty is an adjective, whether you believe it or not. Actually, all the dictionaries that I just now had a quick peek into state that it is also an adverb, used as above. Nothing about it being specifically American or misusive*. Which is good, since I am a pretty frequent user of it. :-) (*) I didn't find that word in any dictionary, but a few google hits show that I was not the first to conclude that logically, it should exist.

I have sent you a reply as of 5 minutes ago. Sorry for the delay in response, as KaiLord said, he and I spend the majority of your online Lone Wolf time running your Lone Wolf RPGs.
The third gamebook is in progress (slow progress, I regretfully add) and I hope to have it completed sometime in August and September. However, this release date is premature and I cannot guarentee it.

You know, I've looked at this thread eight or nine times, and it continually escaped my notice that these books are Lone Wolf gamebooks. I just thought they were general gamebooks. And here I thought I had a high reading comprehension rate.
So that I don't have to actually dig up the link, where are they at?

Nope, I'm not over on TotS. I didn't like the fact that you had to join to post (which this forum is too, after a pr0n-spamming attempt last year--*sigh*) and to access the files section, which seems a bit draconian to me. Also, to my mind, post quotas (i.e. unless you post, your login gets deleted after 30 days), and rewards for high posting (you can visit the "special areas!") are counter-productive to creating a thriving forum with enough on-topicness to allow for some off-topicness while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Additionaly, since I spend hours every week on PA-related stuff, I don't really see the need to go to another LW-based forum; this is all I need.

Fair enough, fair enough. It took me a long time to join because of similar reasons, but I do have to say I'm really enjoying myself over there now that I have joined, and I reccomend it as a great site to anyone who's interested in getting more involved with Lone Wolf.
Of course, Outspaced, you do a lot more work on the actual books here than I do (since I lack to non-abridged versions) so I can see that this would fufill your needs.
