I just learned about this site, and I have to say this is one of the most incredible ideas I have ever seen come to fruition. Being a fan of Lone Wolf but somehow straying away from these great books for several years, this site has re-awakened the love I felt for the great adventures Joe Dever created. I sincerely hope you transcribe all of the great books to HTML format.
Thank you!!! Eric

I`m happy also. In my country Lone Wolf series were never published. Tough, but we had Road Warrior instead. From that time on, I`m fan of Dever works and other books with paragraphs to play.
It`s good to have forum dedicated to such things.

Many, many thanks to all the Project Aon contributors. Your work is the most woderful contribution to the universe of Joe Dever since the publication of the books themselves. Keep on the good job guys !

I, too, would like to give a heart-felt thanks to the great folks here at Project Aon! Though I have most of the books already, it is a wonderful idea to put them up in a format everyone can enjoy freely. I am especially looking forward to finally being able to read books 21-28, as they are nigh-impossible to find (without selling plasma). The books online have much of the same feel as the originals, with the added benefit of never losing your place in a book, never wearing out a spine, and combat that can't be fudged. Again, many thanks for all your efforts! Kris Nerethel Solindas

I think Kris said it all; I'm afraid to think about how much I've spent on rebuilding my collection. Like everyone else though, I have felt very fortunate that this website exists, and wish to express my deepest gratitude to all those who make it possible, and especially for Joe Dever's commitment to his fans by allowing a canon site for the reprints of the books... that is truly a millennium gift to beat all gifts. Thanks everyone, and I look forward to talking with all of you other fans! P.S. Like the pants, Kris. And the sword is a really nice touch!

Hi,
Wonderful to see this great resource online, I stumbled upon this site after thinking about the days when I used to read fantasy books. That was a very long time ago, I'm 23 now and I was about 9 years old when I started reading these books and cou;dn't have been older than 13 when I stopped but they hold fond memories. I even read a book that I think was Road Warrior? which was pretty good, a sci fi book.

I've been an avid (addicted?) follower of the activities of Lone Wolf online for a good number of years now, and it's good that we now have a forum to visit. Oh sure, we had one before (anyone remember the ezboard?), but I think that this one is better. It's tied to a website too, which usually helps. Great that we can finally chat about stuff in this way.
Anyway, just a brief hello from me. I'm looking forwards to getting to grips with Legacy of Vashna from Project Aon.

Another long-time LW fan here. The books greatly helped me escape from the troubling times of middle/high school. It's websites like these that make the internet truly one of the best things in the world. Many thanks goes out to all of Project Aon's staff members that donate their time to bringing us new-and-improved LW goodness.
Legacy of Vashna is awesome, I can't wait to read the unabridged version.

A heartfelt Thanks a lot! to the creators of Project Aon! They are almost single-handedly responsible for a resurgence of my hunger for Magnamund. Already marshalling my Shadakine forces here ... What? Grey Star? A minor setback, not worth mentioning. Oh, look! A three-headed Helghast! No, seriously, that's one great site. The html game books alone are worthy enough of praise; the added errata make them even better! And they don't stop there ... When I learned of the Lone Wolf Club Newsletters becoming available, I was at first cautiously interested, loaded them down and started to read. And I have to say, there are a few neat things to be found in them! (Maybe the additional "Magnamund lore" is of less interest for those who own the fabled Magnamund Companion, but I cannot count myself among them. Therefore, I tend to devour any fragment that crosses my path ...) So, you have my thanks! Keep up the great work! P.S.: By the way, has anyone else noticed empty pages or half-pages in some of the Newsletter PDFs? Or is it just my files?

Actually, I noticed that on one too. I've only had a chance to read about the first 10 or 15, but the killer about the one I was reading was this: It was the punch line by the winner of the contest for the best caption for the giant stuck full of arrows and the guy standing there with the bow. Considering how funny the 2nd and 3rd place captions were, I really was hoping to find out what the winner's said!

Apologies all round, but it isn't actually our fault. Two individuals graciously allowed their copies of the newsletters to be scanned in, but obviously back in the day they had cut out and sent off forms from certain issues or--in a few, rare cases--lost entire pages altogether. As the newsletters were printed on both sides, one missing sheet = two missing pages. If anyone ANYONE!!! has copies of newsletters with any of the missing pages, Project Aon would really like to hear from you. I'll tally up which pages are missing and post an official topic in the Help area.
Since the newsletters are about 95%+ complete, it seemed pointless to keep sitting on them just in case someone had copies of the missing pages. Also, the added publicity might cause the missing pages to come to light!
Actually, most of the information in the Companion Postscript section is new material not found in the original Magnamund Companion. Due to space limitations, the MC sometimes only lists the vital statistics of a country, not giving any written background. This excised material eventually wound up in the newsletters.
Most Lone Wolf fans have never seen the newsletters (I certainly hadn't), so much of it is all-new to most of us.

Whoops, that explains it ... A darn shame, too! (Well, the things we do when still young ... Foolish fellows, we'll not do that again! ) But it's a definite un-shame to publish them now! I'm glad to have 'em; in such cases, I tend to follow the motto Take what you can! Give nothing back! ;D So, thanks nevertheless, to you and them! Actually, most of the information in the Companion Postscript section is new material not found in the original Magnamund Companion.Oh, I actually meant the little goodies hidden in the Monastery Mailbag ... You know, answers to questions like "What happened to X" or the name of the Mercenary Captain from Kingdoms of Terror ... But the Companion Postscript is very nice indeed!
