Hey, you people who were there at the Mongoose Open Day in Swindon or at the Lucca fair and met Joe Dever there... I am sure that you couldn't resist asking Joe some of those questions that LW fans worldwide are wondering about. Both things Magnamundian and more Terran... like, say, republications. Unless you are already planning to make it, it'd be very nice with a list of all the things you picked up straight from the horse's mouth. I know that some people will post reports from the Mongoose day over at Tower of the Sun.

I confirm a news article about the day was posted yesterday on ToTS. PT 2 of hte article will focus on the actual table-top RPG scenario referred to in the article for those interested.
Kind regards DV
*a very happy Darklord with good manners after being at Mongoose and having now met Joe* ;D

I can give you a link where you can find the questions to Dever in Lucca, but ahimé (as we say in Italy) it' in italian, so I'm afraid you'll not understand a word: spazioinwind.libero.it/librogame_plus/realindex.htmlclick on the "news" section to find it. If you want, I can ask for a translation.

If you want, I can ask for a translation. That would be great! I managed to navigate to the "INTERVISTA A JOE DEVER" but as expected, I do not understand ...well, more than a few words.

One thing that Joe did say when asked about the last four new order books was that they are all planned out and that he does want to finish them off one day and that it may well be a job for his retirement....

They were also supposed to take place in the south. He mentioned Telchos for one.
Incidentally, Wolf, which one were you? I was the blond one with glasses, charcoal trousers and a green jumper.

I'm Italian and I've read the whole interview.
It doesn't say anyhting new: the questions on the origin on Lone Wolf, on the sources of inspiration, ... ... ... always the same questions and the same answers you can find in other interviews on the net.
It says that the last 4 books of Lone Wolf are COMPLETELY READY - he just waits for a publisher - and they say that the final of the story of Lone Wolf is "terryfing... of a terryfing beauty !!!"

Great tool! I used it to translate the last part of the interview, where Joe talked about the 4 last books. He asked the fans if they would like to know a little bit about these books, and the fans said no!?!?!?! I can't believe they didn't want to have just a little spoiler, even if Joe was willing to give it to them!

Are you kidding Black Cat?!?!?! You would really like to know what happens to LW without reading the last books?

Are you kidding Black Cat?!?!?! You would really like to know what happens to LW without reading the last books? I don't want to know what will happen in the last books, I want to keep it as a surprise. It's just that I'm surprise that the people didn't want to know just a tiny bit of it, to give them more desire to get these books, just like a movie trailer is suppose to. If you would have the chance to see exclusive footage of the new Star Wars flick before anybody else, I guess that you would watch it, even if it doesn't tell you more about the storyline.

But we already know the storyline of the next SW movie: Anakin becomes evil and changes name, the Jedi are all hunted to extinction (with 2 exceptions or so), and Amidala gives birth to twins.

Yeah, I know, but let say they want to show you an exclusive scene where you see Anakin walking in the streets of a strange city. It doesn't tell you much about the storyline (except that Anakin will visit a strange city!), but you'd still be glad to see it. It's the same thing with Joe Dever: he could have said that the GM will visit let's say Telchos in one of the remaining books. It doesn't tell you more about the storyline, it doesn't tell you in which book we'll see Telchos and it doesn't say if the adventure is completely set in that country or if the GM just spend a few days there. Still, you would be happy to learn that!
