Hello,
that has to be The Shadow Prince or the Crystal Trap, the titles in the Legend of Zelda series... More I cannot say, I would not touch these nintendo books with a 10-foot pole!

Actually, the Mario ones are quite entertaiing. I'll give the question to you, Andyr. By the by, it is the Crystal Trap, where you get the rare chance to play as Zelda. I was hoping the Tantari desert might give it away as a Zelda book.

Well, in the same vein, I'll go for an easy one:
in which gamebook series you find as an option to purchase the gamebook you're reading?

I *think* I remember something like that from the Time Machine ones?

@ Stormbrow:
I don't think that happens in Time Machine books... the book is like your "databank", with buttons and stuff, but the choice is not presented, I think. In the series I have in mind, it happens in every single book of the (rather short) series. In my email with the query there is an additional clue...

It's been a while since I read them. No clue, then.

In the interests of keeping things moving, I'm gonna give the LW question to Black Cat.
I'm also going to ask Andyr to drop a hint as to the solution of his question.

Alright then, I'll post a LW question tomorrow. I have to think of a hard one...

my hint: the gamebook series is based on a classic (very classic) computer game.

Right, that's Zork... all 4 gamebooks (quite forgettable) begin with the option of buying the book or going back home to watch tv reruns...

Well, you could knock me down with a feather! I've never even seen a Zork gamebook, let alone read one! That just came out of leftfield. I'll have a think for a question; it'll be posted sometime inthe next 2 hours, hopefully! (That question was darn fiendish, Andyr! )

OK, it was three hours. :-(
[/li][li]Where can you find the Dunmarsh, the Groaning Desert, the Fosse Mountains, and the city of Tan-Delta?
Not too tricky or too easy, I hope.

Ok, here's the LW question:
In the NO series, you fight some ennemies that are named after the location where they originally come from. Strangely, at the moment where you fight them, they are at least a thousand kilometers away from their original birthplace. What is this the name of that location where these beasts come from?
