As request by Black Cat, here we are - the official trivia quiz thread! North Star. Edit: First question - What now-redundant roles do Clive Revill and Sebastien Shaw (I think!) play in the Stars Wars films?

Okay, so I guess we can ask about anything now?
Ghost Bear's question still stands too: What colour is the emblem on the surcoat worn by the 1st Kirluindin Marines?

Well, I think Shaw was Anakin in VI. Was Revill the Emperor?

Clive Revill supposedly voiced the Emperor. He sounds distinctly like Ian McDiarmuid in the DVD Special Edition. And yes, Sebastien Shaw was middle-aged Anakin in VI. Now of course they have Hayden Christensen as a 20-something Anakin.

So, no other quiz question?

So sad, it seems it may have died after all.
You know with all the finals these weeks, it may just not be the time for any MORE questions.

*Shrug* I have little interest in Star Wars minutiae, I'm afraid. Edit: This site, while going further than I would have done, basically sums up why I find the popularity bewildering. [Warning: Some language, not necessarily work friendly.]

Believe me, I'm not into the hype. But no-one's gone for Ghost Bear's question either.

Okay, then I'll ask a trivia question (I don't know the answer to Ghost Bear's question):
What is the name of the keeper of the Denka Gate?

What is the name of the keeper of the Denka Gate? Well, it depends...there's Esmond, brother of Cyrilus. But Arla, Roark's sister, took his place when you reach for the first time this place in book 6. In book 18, I don't remember if the name of the gatekeeper is said.

[Warning: Some language, not necessarily work friendly.] That was absolutely hilarious. Thanks for sharing, who's next? By the by, the answer to (was it Doomy's?) question about the video game creator who wrote a gamebook series is that: He wrote The X-Men Gamebooks.

By the by, the answer to (was it Doomy's?) question about the video game creator who wrote a gamebook series is that: He wrote The X-Men Gamebooks. Close, but not quite right. I guess you missed when I posted this link at the tail-end of the last trivia thread: www.gamebooks.org/show_item.php?id=1717There was an X-Men book in the series, entitled an X-cellent Death. I forget who wrote it but all the books had different authors. That one was quite unusual because you played four characters simultaneously.

That sounds very interesting. Care to elaborate on the system at all, or did you not play them?

You are correct--I was looking for Esmond.

Yeah, my turn to ask a LW question! Okay, an easy one: What are the names of the soldier that you free and his relatives that you meet in book 24. (I have the French version, so maybe the names aren't the same in English )
