Awesome, good to know Dave.
On to more important things - this rebuild, does it include extra flat-screen inches and gigabytes a-plenty?

Now that book 19 is published - any takers for the journal entries for that particular book?

I'll put you down Taryn. Well, I won't insult you or belittle you, I just mean that I'll put your name on the list... And you should know by now just how much I need them done right away! (how much = not at all)

As I am getting really close to releasing the new version of Seventh Sense, I've sent a PM to each person who has contributed in this summaries project, asking what name you'd like to have displayed in the credits. Please reply via PM. Thanks, all!

This thread was in the 8th to last place on my entire forum! (out of nearly 50 threads), which says to me, it's been long time!
In compiling all of the journal entries for the magnakai and grandmaster series, I realized a few things:
1) We now have ALL of the GM books available on Project Aon (they weren't all there when this thread first started). 2) kalidrev & Taryn are AWOL, so I have need of someone to do books 14 and/or 19, as well as someone to volunteer for book 20. 3) BUT, most pressing of all - darktelepath lost his work on Book 6 a long time ago, is also AWOL, and I don't have any journal entries for book 6!
So, obviously, for the Magnakai release, I need journal entries for book 6. I've sent PMs and emails to Taryn and commentator (since they were so active in doing these) but after a few days, haven't heard back from either. So, I'm tossing it out there to the community. Anyone want to step up?
--------------
If you decide to help, it will be most efficient for me if you will follow the format shown below (and put entries in numerical order): (Section number in square brackets) (space) (summary text) (carriage return)
[1] Vowed revenge on Darklords for Kai massacre. Set out to find and warn the King. [2] Crashed into low-hanging branches while running from Giaks. P.S. It would also be helpful, if in sections that contain combat, you list the stats on the enemy: like so
[63] Fought a Madman (CS 11, EP 10)

I can try to work on some, here's what I've got for the first 25.
[1] Left Kai Monastery. Dispatched three outlaws on Raider's Road. Honoured as a hero by Baron Vanalund in Ruanon. Managed to withstand temptation to continue partying with the Ruanese, travelled to Casiorn. Won big at the gambling house of the Silver Sage, replenished supplies and bought a new mount. Rode to Quarlen. [2] Looked at some potions for sale. [3] Found a signal beacon and a Torch at the top of the hill in a tall circle of stones. [4] Lost a Weapon to a mass of corrosive, writhing strands. Ran back to the junction. [5] Travelled until mid-afternoon with Cyrilus to a small village holding an archery tournament. [6] Met with Gwynian, fled thru a secret passage from some maniacs pounding on the observatory door. [7] Sensed danger and prepared for an ambush. [8] Killed Chanda. Found 10 Gold Crowns, a Potion of Laumspur, and a Map of Varetta. [9] Offered a chance to bribe the guards 10 Gold Crowns to enter their town. [10] Bought a ticket to Luyen, Rhem or Eula aboard the riverboat Kazonara. [11] Visited Eula. Tekaro is under siege by an army of mercenaries. [12] Shot a Yawshath in the leg with an Arrow, then attacked. (CS 22, EP 32) [13] Crept up on ten hooded men performing a ritual upon a toad-creature, but was sensed by the leader and attacked with a beam of energy. [14] Surrounded by Roark's companions. Roark tried to summon Tagazin from the pit of eternal pain. Fled thru the churchyard gate, but was frozen by a terrifying sight. [15] Defeated a sergeant of the town watch. Left via a winding alley. [16] Examined the Map of Varetta. Decided to find a tavern to avoid breaking curfew. [17] Arranged to stay the night in a tavern. [18] Tried to decide on which bow to use. [19] Docked at Luyen and went into an apothecary with the captain. [20] Shot the rider holding Cyrilus' horse in an ambush and rode away with him in tow. [21] Found myself outside the entrance to a library. [22] Knocked aside the guards and rode away from the gatehouse into the streets. [23] Shot another man in the leg. Combat is imminent. [24] Spotted a bronze warhammer in a gaping hole full of corpses in a derelict chapel. [25] Spoke with a Kloon in a guild-house.

executioneer, thanks for the start - these look nice!
I just got a PM from kamikaze, though, and I'm officially putting him on duty for book 6.
Thanks anyway, though! If you'd like to tackle book 14,19 or 20, please let me know!

Here's a blast from the past - it's been more than 3 years since this thread saw any activity... And I must resurrect it because:
I still don't have any journal entries for book 14!
Since it's the next book in the series to be added to Seventh Sense, I'm going to need some help with getting these done... Any volunteers? Please see the 1st post for formatting instructions, or just follow executioneer's excellent example from book 6 above.
--------
p.s. I also still need books 19 & 20, and since we'll get there eventually, if anyone want to volunteer for those, it would be a great help to the project!

Sure Dave,
I can have a go at Book 14, it's been a while but should be fun. Won't volunteer for the rest just yet, might do in a couple days depending on how schedules look.
Edit: Pasted what I bashed out. These seem okay?
[1] Set sail on the airship Skyrider, her crew grieved by their captain's absence. Bid Rimoah a fond farewell and ventured out into the howling storm. [2] Barreled into the tunnel as arrows ripped through the air. Paused for a moment to consider the poorly lit, musty chamber. [3] Solemnly regarded the dark, smoky tunnel before passing warily within. [4] Darted after the fleeing Vordak and Giaks in silent pursuit. [5] Clashed with Drakkarim Veterans (CS 30, EP 35) [6] Basked in the restorative brilliance of the Summerswerd. Stood firm in the face of the chittering tide of illusionary insects. [7] Escaped the crypt and clambered up into the relatively fresh air above. [8] Staggered through the heavy steel doors, Banedon's labored breathing disturbing the otherwise still air. Considered the junction. [9] Silently praised Kai for youth, strength, and luck as the dust below settled. [10] Grimly listened for the snapping of Drakkarim bones against the street far below. Surveyed the jittery Kraan [11] Desperately searched for a weak spot in the creature's shell. [12] Remembered a key fact about the Helghast. [13] Looted the foul smelling barracks. Found a Statuette of Zagarna. [14] Fought a Korozon (CS 52, EP 54) [15] Overwhelmed finally by the crushing tide of Drakkarim and Giak soldiers. [16] Slain easily by patrolling Giaks, an ignominious death. [17] Braced for an inevitable attack as the beast moved in for the kill. [18] Struggled to shrug off the lingering effects of an ill chosen spell [19] Boldly strode forward, fully committed to the performance. [20] Ransacked the armory. Approached the spiraled stair. [21] Starved the creature of psychic energy. [22] Surveyed the city from the cover of a ruined home, panting slightly from the recent escape. [23] Cursed quietly as spells proved insufficient to the task at hand. [24] Slipped into the shadows besides the magically warded door. [25] Disabled the Drakkarim guard and hide his unconscious body. Moved deeper into the complex. [26] Hoped that the guards were as gullible as they first appeared. [27] Struggled to meet the onrush of Drakkarim [28] Broke through the Death Knight line with only minor injuries [29] Hurried into a concealed passage, Banedon proving his usefulness yet again. [30] Desperately sought some advantage against the scuttling insect hoards and dark shadowy presence. [31] Regarded the slumbering guard and considered the wisdom of confrontation. [32] Gasped for breath as the agonies of combat and ill grace combined. [33] Smoldered fiercely. [34] Silently praised Kai as the beast's hulking form collapsed. [35] Scampered through the ruins to avoid detection. Learned the danger of unsure footing. [36] Prepared for the worst as the ambush was sprung. [37] Slipped through the tunnel unharmed. Searched the vault. [38] Traveled through long abandoned passages. Considered escape routes. [39] Battled a Vodok (CS 44, EP 52) [40] Dispatched the handlers. [41] Winced as the runaway log tore through soft flesh. [42] Hurriedly entered a once-secret tunnel at Banedon's suggestion [43] Worked diligently to unblock the passage at the foot of the vile staircase. [44] Rushed through deserted corridors as the sound of battle echoed off in the near distance. [45] Staggered to avoid the dragon-creature's flaming bolts as the residue of the psychic assault did it's dark work. [46] Considered the relative destructive power of archery and polymorphism. [47] Snuck through the snoring Drakkarim's barracks. [48] Expertly shrugged off the Helghast's psychic attack. [49] Struggled to shake off the lingering weakness of a hellish fever. [50] Dispatched Banedon's reptilian jailer. Scrambled to destroy the crystal sphere.
[51] Navigated the ruins carefully, mindful of further dangers. [52] Left the writhing octopoid to its fiery fate. [53] Stared in wide eyed horror at the careening logs rapid approach. [54] Confronted the Arch Druid Cadak [55] Crossed the frozen hallway [56] Moved through the dingy hallways [57] Passed through the cavern and the iron door hidden within. [58] Battled 3 Vodak (CS 28, EP 38) [59] Explored the usurped site of worship. Contemplated the transporter beam there within. [60] Engaged in a battle of wits with a Drakkar sentry. [61] Strode confidently past the two deceived guards. [62] Fought 2 Xaghash (CS 52, EP 60) [63] Easily scaled the tower wall [64] Offered a silent prayer for the fallen owners of the bones strewn around the deep chambers. [65] Moved carefully through the outlying areas of Kaag. Noted the appearance of a psychic scout. [66] Skillfully drove the Zanbeast into feats of aerial finess. [67] Fled the Drakkar, slowing only on reaching the relative safety of the decaying ruins [68] Easily avoided a crude pit trap. Worked tirelessly to clear accumulated rubble. [69] Attempted to marshal an arcane assault of sufficient pussiance. [70] Donned a Drakkarim disguise and attempted a grand deception. [71] Fell to the hail of Drakkarim arrows, their stings a final indignity. [72] Fought Ligan (with Ziranakag) (CS 44, EP 32) [73] Sought inner serenity as the arrow flew [74] Wove a mystic shield of fey power [75] Prodded at the locks stubborn mechanism [76] Dispatched the Nadziran and sacked the room beyond. [77] Rejoiced in the surety of an illusionary enemy [78] Moved into the inky darkness leaving only the ashen remains of the defeated Korozon behind [79] Considered the branching streets as the stink of the fallen Vordak wafts through the air. [80] Moved through the alley and deeper into the city beyond. [81] Crouched in armed preparation for the beast's attack, the stink of burnt ozone still fresh in the air. [82] Moved beyond the torture chambers and its desperate screams and pungent aromas. Considered the stairs leading up and down. [83] Enjoy a moment's rest along the wending passage in a small stone-walled chamber. [84] Evaded the Vordak's clumsy mental probe. [85] Prepared to meet the Death Knight's advance [86] Traversed an odd corridor of fire and ice [87] Struggled to fend off the waking goliaths myriad attacks. [88] Entered the mighty city of Kaag. [89] Battled Gnagusk (CS 41, EP 45) [90] Mounted a mesmerised Kraan and took to the air. [91] Prepared to meet the beasts advance as the flaming arrow spluttered uselessly on the floor [92] Fought Drakkarim Handlers (CS 35, EP 39) [93] Uncovered a vile beast in its secret lair [94] Changed strategies in a moment of keen Kai insight [95] Swallowed the bitter taste of disappointment as a trap was sprung. [96] Smothered the Doomwolf's will. Escaped through a window. [97] Sighed in exasperation as a the crystal proved resilient to poorly aim projectiles. [98] Passed between the guards and into the chamber beyond. [99] Attempted to skewer the rampaging Akataz [100] Contemplated a test of loyalty and wits.
[101] Revived Banedon briefly to consult on matters topographical. Set off towards the Zlanbeast pens. [102] Fought Gnagusk (CS 41, EP 45) [103] Silently screamed as flames seared sensitive flesh [104] Expertly navigated Kaag's twisting alleys and sprawling neighborhoods. Froze in alert concern as a denizens scrying disturbed the aether. [105] Dispatched the Zavaghar with Banedon's aid. [106] Danced nimbly out of the way of hurled furnishings as enraged Xaghash prepared for combat. [107] Sprinted through the devastation of Kaag, Death Knights only moments behind. Anxiously regarded the rubble impediments. [108] Mustered what arcane power could be marshalled and attempted to shatter the glassy orb. [109] Slipped through the Akataz pen both unseen and undetected. [110] Flexed still tender burned fingers whilst considering the treasures of the grand vault. [111] Considered silencing the moaning Drakkar once and for all [112] Spared a moment of silent thanks for life saving luck [113] Hauled Banedon into a hidden passage as search parties drew near. [114] Contemplated the room's contents [115] Finally reached the top of the seemingly unending stair. Shook off quiet despair as the extent of the work necessary to enter the blocked hall became apparent. [116] Gazed in mute horror at the sending stone [117] Narrowly avoided the explosive charge [118] Fought Vordak (CS 22, EP 28) [119] Surveyed the broken bodies of dispatched Drakkarim foes. Left them as an unspoken warning to the rapidly gaining pursuers. [120] Suppressed an overwhelming urge to hoarsely cheer as the crystal sphere shatters, freeing Banedon. [121] Fought Gnasgusk (CS 41, EP 45) [123] Expertly shadowed the unaware Giak troop. Observed their outpost with a warriors appraising eye. [124] Planned how best to acquire a Kraan. [125] Fell into a defensive crouch as the beast barreled forward, liquid fire spewing from its open mouth. [126] Battled Plaak (CS 39, EP 20) [127] Warily rode the glimmering column of light. Attempted to puzzle out the lock's combination. [128] Fought Zavaghar (CS 52, EP 60) [129] Fought Vordak & Giak patrol (CS 37, EP 40) [130] Retched uncontrollably as the creature's taint easily overwhelmed magnakai restorative powers. [131] Clenched fists in barely managed frustration as the arrow failed to shatter the crystal [132] Fought Drakkarim Veterans (CS 30, EP 35) [133] Peered down into the shaft's silent depths. [134] Obliterated the wand wielders in a burst of unleashed magical ferocity. Ended the Ligan's life. [135] Fought Akataz (wounded) (CS 20, EP 22) [136] Frantically leapt upon the back of a fleeing Kraan. Clambered desperately for the saddle. [137] Died under the crushing weight of seemingly endless Kaag soldiery. [138] Fled the Plaak. Considered the adage “out of the frying pan and into the fire” as the bone chocked passages spoke of terrible dangers ahead. [139] Neutralised the Octopoid's deadly acid. Prepared to meet it in battle. [140] Trailed a Drakkar guard until happening upon a gallery. [141] Deftly unlocked the door, pleased at the how easy it all seemed. [142] Stealthily approached an unguarded camp of the injured, battle weary, and cowardly. Recoiled slightly at their casual disregard for the lives of their fellows. [143] Allowed a grim smile at the sight of the arrow shattering the crystal and freeing Banedon. [144] Lingered in the ruins, watching the troop from afar. Plummeted into the inky blackness as the floor gave way underfoot. [145] Ascended the staircase unopposed. Considered the path forward in the sweltering heat. [146] Rued abandoning caution as a Helghast's trap was sprung. [147] Spied the approach of a rampaging troop of Drakkarim. [148] Struggled to control a churning stomach as the horrific sights of the Giak abattoir, and stench of rotting Giak carcasses, threatened to become too much. [149] Patiently waited in the shadows for the streets to empty. [150] Watched in horror as the sinister shadow shaped the darkness into a seething tide of insects and silently glided towards Banedon's unmoving form. [151] Fought Drakkarim (CS 26, EP 35) [152] Observed the comings and goings of enemy forces from the shadows. Pondered the wisdom of entering the lichen clad chamber [153] Bled out on the ruined streets of Kaag, another nameless victim of the marauding Death Knights. [154] Recoiled from the surging punishment of the incorrectly used lock, knocking the air out of Banedon's already laboured lungs. Sheepishly allowed him to solve the puzzle. [155] Carefully moved to escape the dingy crypt and it's unseen, but psychically obvious, resident. Gulped reflexively as the door slammed shut and that which was unseen made itself known. [156] Confronted the Egorgh pack in the maze of shadowy pillars. [157] Prepared to prove a false loyalty [158] Swallowed a half formed yell of triumph as the beast collapsed, the single fiery arrow still smoldering in it's broken shell. [159] Dispatched the Drakkarim guard with nary a thought. Looted his body before slipping off into the corridors beyond. [160] Passed through the Doomwolf stables without incident. Hurriedly searched for a hiding space as a troop of Drakkarim noisily approached. [161] Died besides the seemingly unpickable lock, it's pitted unyielding face a final mockery. [162] Fought Drakkarim (CS 26, EP 35) [163] Smothered the Drakkarim's light, allowing his impatience to be his undoing. [164] Darted across the finally deserted streets. Prepared to scale the imposing wall. [165] Escaped the dusty pool on the wings of magic and luck, albeit at a heavy price.
[166] Marvelled at Kai's benevolence as the illusionary tide of insects rippled and faded from existence and the fireball spluttered harmlessly against the cold stone walls. [167] Recoiled in barely controlled shock as a concealed beast entered the fray [168] Struggled to resist rising despair as the chance of an easy escape suddenly faded. [169] Fought Nadziran (in dragon guise, with flame-sword) (CS 46, EP 40) [170] Studied the lounging troops unobserved from the shadows. Abandoned the safety of the room's outskirts in a bold move towards the far archway. [171] Crept through the wending alleys and twisting ruins of the great city, moving ever closer to its dark heart. [172] Slipped through the shadows of the ruined city, deftly avoiding patrols and random outbreaks of violence. [173] Tensed involuntarily as the creature suddenly spewed a stream of burning liquid. [174] Savored a moment's satisfaction as the psychic attack failed to breach formidable Kai defenses. Prepared to meet a new, fiery, danger. [175] Cursed the stupidity of hired muscle as the guards failed to act according to plan. Considered remaining options. [176] Joyfully did Kai's work; dispatching the flailing Ligan with ease. [177] Dragged Banedon down the wending hall, guttural shrieks echoing from mere steps behind. [178] Paused for a moment to staunch the bleeding and dress the pair of jagged bolt wounds. [179] Blasted the lock, obliterating it in a surge of magical lightning. [180] Tamed the wild Akataz. Quickly ransacked its messy home. [181] Furrowed brow as the combination lock presented a new, more cerebral, challenge [182] Fought Drakkarim (CS 34, EP 36) [183] Clambered over the mound and faded from view leaving the pursuing Death Knights to mutter to themselves about ghosts and the such. Considered the citadel in all its dread splendor. [184] Shrugged off the impotent mental attack, secure in the superiority of Kai defences. [185] Trailed the troop from a safe distance, observing their habits and learning their weaknesses. Considered striking off in a new direction. [186] Wrinkled nose in disgust at the temple's sickly stench. [187] Died, smothered under a crushing weight of grit and dust [188] Hoisted Banedon upon straining shoulders, relief dousing the burning complaints of muscles long overworked. [189] Sliced through the panicked Giaks with practiced ease. Scrambled to meet the Vordaks' psychic assault. [190] Struggled from the broken pile of twitching, bleeding Kraan. Sheltered in the surrounding ruins. [191] Staggered under the force of the dark psychic lashing. [192] Traded blows and feints with the flailing octopoid. Prepared to fight tentacle with flame. [193] Lashed out at the waking goliath, desperately slashing and stabbing at its rearing form. [194] Shadowed the retreating Drakkar, slipping silently into the gallery. [195] Fought Giant Doomwolf (CS 39, EP 49) [196] Sprang up from the shattered illusion, the terrible shoulder pain now just a dull ache. [197] Fought Vokok (CS 44, EP 52) [198] Panted heavily while muscles screamed and nerves faltered and the tower's façade crumbled unpredictably. [199] Hastily drew a hand weapon as the beast easily avoided death by arrow. [200] Wearily passed through the dread junctions and monster chocked hallways of the dark tunnels. [201] Rubbed weary eyes as the hustle and bustle of the ruined city imposed itself upon once tranquil shelter. Spied the base of the citadel. [202] Relished the guard's sudden subservience. Gazed over the railed parapet. [203] Staggered away from the approaching Drakkarim, Banedon's broken body slowing all means of escape. [204] Prepared to prove a falsehood. [205] Fought Drakkarim (CS 26, EP 35) [206] Fought Drakkarim Guards (CS 32, EP 40) [207] Stirred Banedon from the depths of his dark unconscious prison. Gratefully followed his directions through the wending passages. [208] Smashed the dark orb, cleansing the chamber of its lingering befoulment. [209] Explored the citadel's oddities. Suffered the chill bite of the mysteriously frozen corridor. [210] Fought 4 Drakkarim (CS 37, EP 41) [211] Battled Nadziran (in dragon guise, with flame-sword) (CS 46, EP 40) [212] Wrestled with the shrieking, writhing Helghast as Drakkarim stood in rapt attention, silent witnesses to a frantic struggle. [213] Methodically slaughtered the piggish Drakkar, his death squeals rapidly fading to silence. Approached the Kraan. [214] Prepared for combat with the angry beast. [215] Cursed enthusiastically as Animal Control proved insufficient for the task at hand. Sprung to seize the initiative. [216] Died in the halls of Kaag, broken beneath a seemingly unending tide of soldiers. [217] Stealthily slipped through the bustling hall and considered the abandoned tunnel beyond. [218] Communed with the spirits and benefited from their knowledge. The undead's unspoken suffering dampened the joy of finally knowing the location of Banedon's prison. [219] Fought 3 Vordaks (CS 40, EP 42) [220] Shuddered slightly at Banedon's tales of the torture chamber's dark purpose. Contemplated the curious combination lock. [221] Fought Gnagusk (CS 41, EP 45) [222] Dove into the seething tide of insects, desperate to avoid the rapidly approaching fiery bolt.
[223] Wearily circled the writhing octopoid and the flickering flames that fed upon it's thrashing body. Entered the tunnel beyond. [224] Surveyed the hall and it's great doors with the careful observations of a trained warrior. Planned a distraction. [225] Basked in the restorative power of a master Kai practitioner. [226] Calmly prepared to meet the rodent-like beast's challenge. [227] Grimly smiled as ancient magic sheathed hewn wood in a deadly flame. [228] Assessed the seemingly abandoned crypt [229] Fought Ashradon (CS 42, EP 40) [230] Looted the bodies of the fallen Drakkarim Death Knights. [231] Repressed an overwhelming desire to gasp as the vile creature shrugged off what should have been a mortal wound. Prepared to meet it's angry advance. [232] Scrambled up the mound of broken masonry and shattered brickwork. [233] Easily dominated the lumbering beasts' primitive minds, moving through the chamber in the wake of their hurried departure. [234] Grinned in genuine satisfaction as the lock succumbed to the brute force of arcane might. [235] Slunk through the contested battle fields and ruined streets, moving ever closer to the vile city's inner bastions. Contemplated shadowing a troop of ragged soldiers. [236] Cursed the luck of archers and the shortcomings of breeches as kai healing powers seemed insufficient to sooth the shooting agony. [237] Contemplated the spiraling stair and it's hidden guards. [238] Reached for the arched entrance, screaming muscles silenced by the certain knowledge that failure would mean death. [239] Attempted to prove a false allegiance [240] Watched in mute horror as the throne's fanged mouth slowly opened ever wider. [241] Shrugged off the last vestiges of a lesson well learned – the cost of meeting magic with muscle is paid in blood. Ensured the silence of the three unfortunate witnesses. [242] Avoided the Drakkarim dormitory and ventured south instead. [243] Retreated in the face of the octopoid's steady advance. Considered the importance of position in all things military. [244] Marveled at lucks capriciousness as a danger avoided proved far preferable to that which arose to take it's place. [245] Drew the bowstring taut and prepared to send an arrow flying unwaveringly towards the glowing crystal sphere.
[246] Marveled at the dark riches' terrible splendor [247] Gasped for breath as the Helghast's vice like grip slowly crushed flesh and bone. [248] Took flight with Banedon, the Arch Druid’s screams of rage rolling like thunder through the pen. [249] Broke the Kraan's wild spirit and took flight. [250] Slipped through the broken alleys and shattered ruins, watching the ebb and flow of enemy troops. Fled a Death Knight troop. [251] Prepared to meet the creature's advance, the shattered arrow lying harmlessly to the side. [252] Learned more of Kaag's twisted politics. Attempted to pass the war-dogs unnoticed. [253] Fell from a great height, and to a Giak patrol's blade. [254] Ignored the cries of aching muscles and tender flesh as hero become laborer for a short time. [255] Weighed options as the lock proved magically warded. [256] Sighed in relief as a Drakkarim patrol passed without incident. Fled down the passage. [257] Looted the Drakkar's unconscious body. Peered over the gallery's railed parapet [258] Gasped for breath behind a pillar, the exertion of dodging the octopoid's acid attacks taking it's toll. [259] Grinned with unrestrained joy as the crystal shattered and Banedon's prison flickered out of existence. [260] Surveyed the crossroads quickly, conscious that every passing second increased the odds of being discovered. [261] Glanced about the bone strewn passage with barely contained horror, the elation of defeating the Egorgh immediately a distant memory. [262] Spun to face the danger emerging from the shadows; the net lying useless upon the ground. [263] Fought 2 Xaghash (CS 52, EP 60) [264] Retreated from the battle scene, the mustering Drakkar a danger not worth facing. Considered escape paths. [265] Reeled under the onslaught of an unexpected psychic assault. [266] Cursed ill luck as a hill of rubble rose up to thwart an otherwise perfect escape. [267] Wearily regarded the Zlanbeast pens, a note of caution seemingly screaming in the oddly quiet space. [268] Played at arson and melted into the acrid smoke that filled the corridor. [269] Forced aching legs and screaming muscles to hold on for just a few feet further. [270] Tensed in nervous preparation as psychic probes proved profoundly proficient. [271] Considered the lay of the land. Noted the large square door. [272] Hid, undetected, in the small tack room. [273] Crept like a thief in the night, navigating shadows and darknesses alike. Regarded the unaware Drakkarim. [274] Considered truths and falsehoods on the astral plane as masks were pushed aside and new dangers revealed. [275] Sunk into eternal nothing, Banedon held close as breath slowed and blood cooled. [276] Rested for but a moment. Noticed a strange key. [277] Prepared to scale the tower's mouldering, pitted surface. [278] Sighed in frustration as persuasion, not immolation, seemed the best path forward. [279] Fought 3 Kaag Kraan (CS 45, EP 60) [280] Battled Drakkarim Veterans (CS 30, EP 35). [281] Fought Ice Dragon (polymorphed Nadziran) (CS 48, EP 52) [282] Deftly avoided detection on the Kraan platform. Regarded the twin arches. [283] Retreated in the face of overwhelming odds. An ambush sprung, the price of discretion. [284] Abandoned the scene of battle, a ragged wound the price of victory. Considered the path forward. [285] Froze in momentary terror as the horror of the bone strewn passage proved itself a mere introduction to things far worse. [286] Fought Akataz (CS 24, EP 25) [287] Rolled across the hard stone floor in a desperate attempt to escape the stream of liquid fire. [288] Fought Drakkarim Death Knights (CS 42, EP 37) [289] Died, impaled under the spiked log's crushing weight. [290] Crossed the infernal hall, it's hellish heat sustaining an unseen danger. [291] Sparred with the angry Drakkar. Stepped easily aside as he tumbled down the stairs. [292] Fought Drakkarim (CS 26, EP 35) [293] Hastily retreated from suddenly dangerously mismatched odds. Considered rewarding arrogance with steel. [294] Peered into the pen's shadowy recesses, desperate to spot even one of the hidden ambushers. [295] Sprinted through ruined streets and decimated avenues; bloodstains from the recently dispatched Doomwolf drying slowly in the open air. Learned of the floors' weakness a moment too late. [296] Repressed the urge to cheer as surging magical power shattered the crystal sphere and Banedon's prison flickered out of existence. [297] Carefully traversed the strange glacial corridor. [298] Quickly left the crypt and it's smoldering inhabitant. Darted through ruined neighborhoods and abandoned streets until finally snatching a moment's rest. [299] Fought Gnagusk (CS 41, EP 45) [300] Reveled for a moment in the unmitigated joy of friends reunited. Prepared to finally release Banedon from his cruel tormentors. Learned that some tasks are not as easy as they first appear. [301] Struggled against the inexorable suction of the gritty floor trap. [302] Moved through the door; it's lock finally picked. [303] Fought 3 Kaag Kraan (CS 45, EP 60).
[304] Traveled through winding passages and spiraling stairs, across empty chambers and down dark halls. Rushed forward, driven by the sight of a friend thought long lost. [305] Started slightly as the lumbering monstrosity shook off what should have been a mortal wound. Desperately attempted to dodge it's attack. [306] Choked down Oede and won the a war being fought within. [307] Prepared to meet Cadak's beast head on, magic having failed to avert this latest challenge. [308] Considered the vault's contents with an appreciating eye. Noted a particular statuette. [309] Surveyed the vile city of Kaag, it's twisting avenues and broken battlements a maze within which Banedon is held. Shrugged off the exhaustion of a long hike and considered the best point of entry. [310] Hoisted Banedon into a more comfortable position and laboriously slunk through wending halls. Weighed the wisdom of a second opinion. [311] Died in Kaag's grim halls, gasping for breath until the very end. [312] Gazed in horror at the Drakkar's lethal spiked log trap. [313] Curiously glanced around as heat began to take it's toll on body and equipment alike. [314] Dominated the guards' minds. Strutted calmly between upturned spears before entering the great doors. [315] Prepared for conflict as the deserted room proved anything but. [316] Bolted through halls, veering wildly, as Banedon's weight pressed downwards and the sound of whistling arrows pressed onwards. Considered the virtue of rest. [317] Mustered a speedy psychic defense. Grimaced on learning the wisdom of the adage; more haste; less speed. [318] Fought 3 Egorghs (CS 37, EP 42) [319] Furrowed brow and mustered grey cells so as to face the combination lock's unspoken challenge. [320] Considered other approaches to shattering the sphere as Thor proved an inappropriate inspiration. [321] Hurried to Banedon's assistance, reluctantly turning to face the unseen challenge from the shadows. [322] Writhed in agony as the folly of relying on brute force alone made itself felt. [323] Coolly prepared for combat with the strange beast, its acidic breath failing to melt an iron will and steely determination. [324] Exploited the cover of unnatural nature at work. Escaped the Death Knights' line and fled. [325] Grimly turned to meet the approaching Drakkarim and Helghast. [326] Rummaged through the Drakkars mind, his secrets written plainly for all to read. Cased the vault. Noted a particular statuette. [327] Warily penetrated ever deeper into Kaag's dark heart. Mulled the best response to a Giak troop's approach. [328] Crashed through the elegant library, the thrill of the hunting blotting out all other concerns. Contemplated the wisdom in challenging an overplayed hand. [329] Slipped through shadows, avoiding contact and discovery. Learned a moment too late that stable in sight is not stable underfoot. [330] Fought Drakkarim (CS 26, EP 35) [331] Marveled at life's unending irony; that a thing as beautiful and elegant as the transporter beam could exist in a place as vile as Kaag. [332] Darted through the alleys and shadows of Kaag's outer city. Learned a moment too late that age might bring wisdom; but it also steals strength, as rotten beams splintered and split. [333] Easily dodged the creature's acid like breath. Stepped forward to meet the monster head on. [334] Fought Akataz (CS 24, EP 25) [335] Loosed an arrow at the approaching boar-like monstrosity with a silent prayer and twang of bowstring. [336] Proved a falsehood. Passed through the archway into the darkness beyond. [337] Spied upon the great Northern Door, charting the comings and goings of unaware minions. Planned to exploit an unexpected opportunity. [338] Mulled the force and luck needed to shatter the crystal sphere with mundane weaponry [339] Charmed the unsuspecting Drakkar soldier with equal parts magic and bravado. Passed into the corridor beyond. Gazed down from the galley's railed parapet. [340] Consigned the Drakkarim bodies to the moat's hungry flames. Traveled deeper into the cluttered halls and dirty chambers. [341] Died in the skies above Kaag, success so close and yet; ultimately; unattained. [342] Shook off the last flecks of the trap's gritty grey dust and contemplated the great cost of this inopportune discovery. [343] Slunk through the darknesses of forgotten chambers and abandoned ruins; moving ever towards Kaag's foul heart. Considered the dangers of tomb raiding. [344] Silently thanked wizards and their ways as screaming bolts proved no match for the power of a hastily cast shielding spell. Broke through the enemy lines and handily evaded pursuit. [345] Released an arrow at the approaching beast, the twang of straining bowstrings almost deafening to senses focused fully on the task. [346] Arced a bolt of arcane lighting at the pool's shimmering surface. [347] Slipped past the guards under cover of smoke and flame. Passed into the yawning portal. [348] Lithely dodged the terrible spikes and crushing weight of the rolling log trap. [349] Noted the appearance of a Vordak and its troop of lowly Giaks. Rushed to avoid detection. [350] Returned to the Skyrider, triumphant, Banedon saved and evil's schemes disrupted once again. Allowed the crew's hearty congratulations, Rimoah's fatherly pride, and Banedon's heartfelt gratitude to burn away the memories of Kaag's varied horrors.

These look really great! Thanks, commentator! I'll put your name by book 14. There's no hurry to finish right away - I haven't actually started book 14 yet (But that might change this weekend, if I'm not swamped with house-hold repairs...

Just wondering, how long does it take to actually finish one of these books?

Typically 20-30 hours of work goes into getting a book ready for release, some books are more straight-forward and take less, and some are more complex and take more. (Like all of the gambling in book 2!)
