Dave: Are you using the xml or the version of the book currently available on the site? The Fish Amulet situation is no longer an issue in the latest edit. (See the Errata List Section 44 under "Rejected".)

"So, have you decided to release once Book 4 is done, it seems like that won't be far off at the rate you're going. I am quite excited to get back into Lone Wolf." I've been checking in twice a day just hoping for a release. In fact, I'd be happy with even just books 1-3, but that's me.

Dave: Also, the updated xml changes one of the section links to make it finally work for the first time ever (see the Errata Page Sections 32 and 241 under "Fixed").

outspaced - I'm using the html zips. I'll be sure to incorporate those changes you mentioned - thanks!
When/if any of the books are re-released as updated .zips, is there some kind of change log from one version to the next? To indicate what is now different from the last release? That would be super helpful in terms of knowing which section info might need updated in Seventh Sense, without wasting a bunch of time checking each section.

Alternatively, of course, just checking those sections which are mentioned in the "Fixed" list would be adequate as nothing would have been changed in the other sections!

Okay, progress has resumed on Seventh Sense... -I'm about 2/3 of the way done with Book 4. -I have addressed a ton of small bugs (and some big ones!) and various improvements as brought out by my beta testers. A big thanks to all beta testers! -The program now displays book cover art on loading a book, and on demand when clicking on the book's title at the top of the screen... -Rahenna has put together a very nice website for the project - can't wait to show you guys. But I will anyways! -The program is confirmed to work in Vista with no special compatibility mode tricks. Yay! Nothing else comes to mind, but lots of little tweaks and fixes, as per the beta testing results. Book 4 is coming along nicely and I've got a small break inbetween semesters coming up in a few days (finals week starts tomorrow. Ugh - grading exams... )

Hooray! This means you got the job. Regarding exam marking, I feel your pain. Not particularly looking forward to the same in a month or so.

(finals week starts tomorrow. Ugh - grading exams... ) Just give them all C's and move on, lol. They all pass, and we get back to what's important, Lone Wolf.

Finished entering book 4- testing will commence tonight! I also have found a great piece of installation software (Inno Setup) that will work very nicely. It has enough functionality that I will be able to easily package this and all future releases.
Once I finish testing book 4, I'll put some real text on my website and then we're in business!

Excellent, i'm really looking forward to this, one question tho, can you input your own character? the new FFTD has some excellent items that would be nice to carry over +1CS ordinary weapons and loads of Laumspur for a start but as it is not going to be added to your program ever the question of custom characters comes up.

Sorry, but you won't be able to input the character manually like that, or use items from the revised books. However, one of the House Rules is a weapons options that turns some otherwise normal weapons into special weapons with interesting powers. Like that Giak Spear you find in the back of some poor sap in Book 1? Not just an ordinary spear...
P.S. I have finished testing all of book 4, have performed a few minor bug-fixes, and will be scanning through the beta test report thread to see if I need to address any more items before releasing this thing!!!
