I am on page 269 and i dealt with the monster with the magic spear. When i turn to page 349, my magic spear vanish/drop/gone from my inventory? Any ideas?

It's never needed again (Certainly you don't have the option to use it again ever) so I guess it helpfully removes it from your inventory

i know this is an old topic but i am having trouble with this. can someone tell me how to get that magic spear? i've played book 1 and 2 many times but never seemed to be able to find it  i'd really like to b/c i want to save those guys |

I'll put this in white so it's a semi-spoiler tag: Start -> After you leave the coach party (at a run) you are offered a choice of which direction to get to Port Bax. I suspect you take the option that leads to a watchtower. Take the alternative path (if you check the map, it's the more direct route) <- End
