I voted for Naar, even though I don't like him: he was never mentioned before the death of Gnaag...seems like a filler for GM and NO; however, I like the fact that he has human eyes.
I didn't put Vashna here because you can vote for him in another poll (*jealousy*).

The Deathlord Ixiataaga... it is quite powerful for being a single-adventure character. It is stronger than any of the other enemies - Cadak, Magnaarn, Shamath, Vaxagore, Kekataag - and its weapon is the only one that could oppose to the Sommerserd, in power. Powerful !!! ;D

I had to vote the Deathlord too, he was just ridiculously hard to kill! I enjoyed the whole prelude to the combat, the setting, it just made for a great battle-scene!

Cadak. He's a thorn in my side in at least four books. Darn the darned priest.
I did enjoy Magnaarn too though. He's second.

I'll vote for Cadak. Like Vonotar, he looks weak but he always comes back after you in the other books. Even when you think that you finally got rid of him, he still comes back to haunt you. Arghhhh...YOU CAN'T GET RID OF HIM!!!

Doesn't John Grant indicate that Cadak is the Vassagonian word for "dung pile" or something similar? *g*

Nah, you're thinking of Carag, the Giak character he invented as a toady for Vonotar.

Kekataag the Avenger... because his name is so cool, as are his fearsome appearance and his huge axe. Look at how small his decorative human skulls are in comparison to him.

While Zantaz and Kekataag are pretty tough and have nice pictures, they're pretty one-dimensional. Cadak is the GM adventures' Vonotar, i.e. the recurring villain. Magnaarn is a bit like Zakhan Kimah. Naar is the equivalent (opposite) of Kai, and I wouldn't vote for Kai as the best ally, so I won't choose Naar either. So what are we left with?
It's a pity the Deathlord didn't have farther-reaching consequences then a few destroyed isolated Drakkarim villages and an attack against a remote Lencian base, because I really like his concept.
So I'm left with Wolf's Bane, which I found rather interesting. But it's a close call between him and Ixiataaga.

Wow ! Nobody yet votes for Shamath... I guess it's because you can beat her just answering correctly at a riddle... and in book 20, you can beat her more easily, too !!!

I vote for the deathlord because he is the hardest villain. Since Kekataag is undead, you can use the Sommerswerd or Skarnska to kill him. That would technically make his ep 29 because the sommerswerd and skarnska do double damage to undead.
