I just have a perhaps silly question. When I have sword as weapon profession and have come over two sword, will I then get +2 two times, aka +4 in Combat Skill?

Thx. I tried to find if my question had already been posted, but I couldn't find it (this forum doesn't have a search function, right?). Aw well... now I got my answer at least

(this forum doesn't have a search function, right?). It's right in the middle of the icon "tool bar" if you look up a bit. (If you register and log in, it's a bit to the left

Alright, but this one IS silly. The simple answer is "yes" to the original question, right? I got lost halfway through.

There wasn't a common consensus as to whether it should be allowed or not. But among those who thought it should, I think we agreed on the following.
At Kai Lord level, you couldn't gain a +2 for a second weapon, since wielding two weapons is an advanced skill, and KL Lone Wolf isn't good enough yet. But since you can use a shield for the same CS gain, no big loss there.
Only at Magnakai level can you begin to use dual weapons, to gain a total of +6 CS, provided you had mastered both weapons. This continued into the GM serious with an increase to +10.

Thanks GhostBear. Two-weapon fighting is a Mgnakai skill (rank three I think) in Mongoose's Lone Wolf.

Thanks GhostBear. Two-weapon fighting is a Magnakai skill (rank three I think) in Mongoose's Lone Wolf. NS. Hmm, you raise a good point! *goes to check Mongoose site because he doesn't have the books yet* Rank four: Mirror wielding. Allows fighting with the same weapon in both hands, but at a -2 penalty with each and full attacks instead of -4 each and one additional attack for the off hand. Additionally, s/he can wield a single weapon with two hands and gain an extra +1 to hit and damage.
