hello, i tried to run seventh sense 1.5.4 on my macbook pro running osx leopard and got the following error:
Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libcurl.4.dylib Referenced from: /Volumes/Seventh Sense/LoneWolf.app/Contents/MacOS/LoneWolf Reason: Incompatible library version: LoneWolf requires version 6.0.0 or later, but libcurl.4.dylib provides version 5.0.0
any idea what i should do?
thanks

curious - of the dozens of people who have downloaded the mac version, this is the first time I've heard of this issue.
It sounds like you've got something installed which has created a priority for itself over Seventh Sense in loading up the libcurl library... Seventh Sense actually comes with the version it needs...
Not being a mac user myself, I can not offer more specific observations. Perhaps we'll get some Mac gurus on here to help?
Did you try deleteing/re-installing Seventh Sense? I don't know if it will make any difference...

i don't think seventh sense is being packaged with libcurl, because this is all i see in the "Frameworks" directory:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 Rich admin 566644 Jun 24 04:52 libSDL-1.2.0.dylib -rwxr-xr-x 1 Rich admin 135160 Jun 24 05:52 libSDL_image-1.2.0.dylib -rwxr-xr-x 1 Rich admin 35140 Jun 24 04:59 libSDL_ttf-2.0.0.dylib -rwxr-xr-x 1 Rich admin 214748 Jun 24 05:32 libphysfs.2.0.0.dylib -rwxr-xr-x 1 Rich admin 180468 Jun 24 05:50 libpng12.dylib
but don't worry about it too much, i have a windows machine seventh sense is running fine on so i'm just using that instead

I've unfortunately had no luck running SS on my MacBook Pro, either. Is there any Grand Master that has Divination or MacBook-Manship that can help me out? I'm just downloading the most recent version here: www.projectaon.org/staff/david/download.phpWhen I run it, it tells me I had an error, failed to launch, and asks me if I want to launch it again, which I do, only to get the same error. Any help?

Tried SS on my MacBook Pro again to see if it brought up any errors.
Same thing happened to mine as did Solemn, fails to launch. Although I'm nearly sure I had it running before, perhaps there are some old SS files from the previous install bugging things up.

Hmmm. That's 3 confirmed scenarios of not working on Macbook pro. I'll write to the man who helps me with the Mac package (Sam Lantinga) and ask him what he thinks. I think he uses a Macbook Pro, too...

Any updates on this? I just downloaded tonight and couldn't get it to launch on my MacBook Pro either.
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)
Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libcurl.4.dylib Referenced from: /Applications/LoneWolf.app/Contents/MacOS/LoneWolf Reason: Incompatible library version: LoneWolf requires version 6.0.0 or later, but libcurl.4.dylib provides version 5.0.0
I'm about to try updating libcurl myself.

I heard back from Sam, but he said it just sounds like the libcurl version is too old. He also said Seventh Sense should come with it's own libcurl, so if it doesn't right now, I'll get that fixed for the next Mac release.
