So who owns block 29, the Danarg? No one. Or an unknown ruler. But I think that would be very hard to control such a moving territory, mixing water and ground. Also, it would appear that the Hammerlands are almost as large as Ghatan, Skaror and Ogia combined... Would this suggest that their military forces were quite sizeable compared to those other three? That’s not an evidence, even if I agree with the fact that the Hammerlands are a large country, and probably not a deserted country as Ghatan. Territory’s size counts but other things too. how much autonomy Shinzar had when he started dicking around on the border with Eru. Or was that all part of Gnaag's invasion plans? In Le Grimoire du Magnamund, we considered that was part of Gnaag’s invasion plans.

floribur floribur floribur... MEIN HERO!
Just kidding, I'm not German. But this information... I think I'll have to lay down some concrete barriers and claim this territory as my own - priceless! The information regarding the Ziranim is especially welcome, as my Drakkar character follows a rank progression similar to the Kai structure: - Drakkar (Kai) as a above-average foot-soldier and scout - Death Knight (Magnakai) as a lethal martial figure with both melee and ranged weapons - Ziran (Grand Master) as the pinnacle of both physical and magical prowess
The fact that Death Knights are suppose to be trained from "birth" (so to speak) has been a bother to me for a while, but it has recently been solved quite simply: in your last Drakkar adventure, the boss fight will be against a Magnakai master from the First Kai Order, and killing him results in your "special promotion" to the Death Knight training pits in Blackshroud.
As for my Magnamund projects: I have this writing project, and then the board game that I started posting rules for at the end of last year. The board game is on ice at the moment, due to a lack of time, but if anyone at your side on the Le Grimoire is interested in giving a hand, I'll be glad to enter into a team of sorts to actually get something playable finished!

floribur floribur floribur... MEIN HERO! Just kidding, I'm not German. Ashkati, that doesn’t sound German. But this information... I think I'll have to lay down some concrete barriers and claim this territory as my own - priceless! The information regarding the Ziranim is especially welcome, as my Drakkar character follows a rank progression similar to the Kai structure: - Drakkar (Kai) as a above-average foot-soldier and scout - Death Knight (Magnakai) as a lethal martial figure with both melee and ranged weapons - Ziran (Grand Master) as the pinnacle of both physical and magical prowess I’d have seen Death Knights training and Ziranim training as different trainings for distinct Drakkarim. But Ziranim are described as warriors too, then your idea is possible: the Ziranim could be the powermost Drakkar warriors, yes. Wow ! A single Drakkar available to kill a Magnakai master? That seems difficult, but why not. And your Drakkar could have had chance too. I’m very interested by your boardgame project (I followed the post about it), as I like too this kind of games and had some Magnamund game ideas too. I’m still surprized no Magnamund boardgames were released till now. And Joe should be interested because he loves wargames (but when I asked him about this in Paris last year, he told me that was Gary Chalk who could manage this kind of project, and not himself). Just a detail: I don’t work anymore for Le Grimoire, as I had with most of french fans who developped LWRPG (the team who wrote new texts for Le Grimoire du Magnamund) some problems with the president. But we’ll continue developping Magnamund projects in a new association, first with a fanzine (in french, but in which we could make some translations in english of texts like the Hammerlands text). And this association could develop other game projects (other universes, like Titan, but too card games or board games). More details here: projectaon.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=auxiliary&action=display&thread=1791 (and I just see there were several reactions I didn't notice, I have to write some replies there).

Wow! A single snot-nosed Kai teenager to kill Archlord Haakon, the most feared melee combatant in the entire Darklands? Yeah - bring on that Drakkar and the Magnakai guy...
If you could mention the boardgame idea I have to Joe, I'd die happy, come back as a lich, and then spend the rest of eternity working on the game. The game, as it is at the moment, just requires someone to make some tokens and playing cards, get a board map of some kind going, and then 4+ play-testers. I don't have time to do the graphics in Paintshop, hence the delay in progress... But ja: the rule set is virtually complete, and just needs to be tested now to sort out the rest of the bugs.

Just a question. In book 12, section 320 is written about Grolths, who live in "the swamps of the Tadatizaga". Has anybody an idea where could be any swamp in the Tadatizaga (see book 17 map)? Maybe in the upper stream of river Zegar?

Hmm, good point. It could be anywhere along those rivers - Lenag, Zegar, even the Ak way north. Probably closer to the forests though, like Konatadat (Wood-hard forest...?).

I tried to guess the location (according to Magnamund Companion, Lone Wolf Originals, and book 17). The best place should be the upper stream of the river Zegar.

Hi all. Recently, I have been working on composite map of Magnamund and now I have finished last updates. My eternal thanks to Outspaced for his offer to host it on his web pages. I used maps from LW books, Magnamund Companion and LW originals, and there are still blank areas (mostly in Southern Magnamund), so nearly all unnamed cities are made up. So, here is the map. If you spot any mistake, feel free to post it. Great work. Thanks, brother
