Goodness, I never did hear back from Sam, and it's been a good 6 months! My guess is that he's too busy with his software business... I'll ping him again at the release of book 8.
But, if there are any folks out there with experience in compiling for Apple OS, would you consider contacting me and becoming the package maintainer for Mac version of Seventh Sense? Or, if someone sends me a spare Intel Macbook or something, then I'd figure out how to compile on the Mac, and maintain the package myself.
(I actually did go to the thrift store and buy an old Macintosh computer to try it out - unfortunately, it was not an Intel Mac, and I didn't realize that would make a difference. It does!)

Are there any news on the MacOS Version? I don´t have any programming experience myself so I´m afraid I can´t help...

I just received an offer of help with the Mac version from Mac-user who has (or is working on) his Bachelor of Computer Science. If he can help out with the Mac version, that would be just wonderful! In the meantime, the latest version of Seventh Sense does run fine in a virtual machine on Mac OS. If you have a spare copy of Windows XP or later, you could install it to a VM using VirtualBox and play the Magnakai that way. (Of course, it also works in Linux, either in a VM or a real installation, if that's an option for you).

Thanks for the info Dave! I´m already playing Seventh Sense using Parallels... But a native Mac Version will be much more convenient ;-)

Okay, haven't heard back from that one fellow. But to greatly offset that bad news is the great news that Sam Lantinga is back on-board with the Mac version, and he just sent me the latest version of 1.10.0 in the native Mac .dmg package!
Awesome! Thanks, Sam! (I'll get it loaded up online a little later today)
EDIT: Okay, the lastest version is up online and available. Mac Users, please download and let me know if it's working as expected for you! Thanks!
