Dear Wytch-King
Beware Shasarak, for I possess the legendary Moonstone of the Shianti! It's power is your bane, and it's light your shadow.

(Accidentally posted first section)
The strength and cunning of my ancestors may one day permit me to travel from this forsaken plane and fulfill my destiny, which is to wield the artefact of light against you.
Your nemesis, Grey Star the Wizard
P.S. I know what it's like to lose a favored magical tome, I'll return this one to you a.s.a.p.
(Actually, I just finished the last book, and I didn't think it was all that great. I'll probably reread it again and try taking another path.)

Esteemed colleague, Thank you very much for your kind letter. I will be glad to extend my hospitality in scenic Shadaki to you when you arrive. Destiny is indeed no matter to trifle with, especially as the fulfilling of your destiny will mean holidays for each of us. And as far as I am concerned, a vacation is long overdue. Have you already decided where you will be spending your holidays? Myself, I will try for warmer regions, maybe play some Samor with an old pal ... Alas, the fulfillment of your destiny will set a young Kai Lord from Northern Magnamund on his destined path, and my vacation will be cut short by that. So I can only advise you to make the best of yours ... With kind regards, Thy Wytch-King P.S.: Thank you in advance for that tome, I look forward to hold it again in my clawlike, burned hands.

Just a little question about the GS series: why is there only 310 sections in book 2, and not the regular 350?

Just a little question about the GS series: why is there only 310 sections in book 2, and not the regular 350? To compensate for the 360 sections in book 4 ;D BTW, War of the Wizards is now being actively worked on, in parallell with LW16: The Legacy of Vashna.

Honestly, I loved it. It's gotta be one of my favorite books on Joe Dever's. The first time I read it, I was in major anticipation because I couldn't wait to use my Grey Wizard character sheet. However, if you read it as a story instead of playing it as a game, it is fantastic.
Yes, the battle with Shasarak is memorable, and the way I like big battles to play out.

Just a little question about the GS series: why is there only 310 sections in book 2, and not the regular 350? Well, I practically devoured the book as soon as it was published. Maybe I got carried away a bit ... Sorry. The Wytch-King, already anticipating the next release ...
