Odd - I'll fix that for the next release. Thanks, Honza.

Just another suggestion
If I move cursor to the Combat Skill field, there is a hint with the list of enhancements from equipped items / lorecircles / discipline bonuses. For example: Shield +2, Weaponskill +2 etc.
Could it be done something similar with the Endurance field?

That's a good suggestion. I'll see what I can come up with for the next release. Shouldn't be difficult (in fact, probably easier than the CS one, because there are no "if's" involved, like "if you are wielding the right weapon with weaponskill...")

Book 3, Kalkoth award. I passed sections 105 -> 293 -> 109 (killed 2 Kalkoth) -> 235 ... Then at the door to Ikaya I killed the third one (section 147), yet I have not got the award... I do not know how you count the slayed Kalkoth, perhaps in section 109 it triggered only once...

I tried Google, I tried search here (maybe I'm too much of a newb?) but I downloaded and installed the newest SS, not upgraded, then when I start the game, then on where the license should be, there's "MISSING FILE" text.. So sadly, no playing for me....

It sounds like you might have a corrupted download. This happened once with a fellow who downloaded the .zip and it didn't complete the download because of a glitch on his system. (It could even happen from using the google browser, strangely - this happened to a different fellow). The resultant zip file was invalid. Try going into your Seventh Sense folder (should be in "(User)->Seventh Sense->data->books->book1") and deleting the .zip file for book 1 (01fftd.zip). Then restart the program and download afresh and see if that helps.

My contribution on bug-spotting! - In the Sixth book, when you take the offer to buy the horse with money or 2 special items, if I select the first item then the UI goes back to the book letting you choose again the buttons "money" or "special item" (don't remember the exact names of the buttons). I didn't try it, but it seems to me that you can give him an item and then the money. Is it intentional or the money button should be grayed out?
I'm in the second book now. Even though I have the +2CS Shield, it doesn't seem to be equipped. It's listed only in the special item section and I'm getting no bonus. I noticed this in the fight against the impaled Helghast. In previous fights it was accounted normally. Maybe you could add an "equip" button just in case? My bad. I had a spear equipped!
- Not exactly a bug. More like an inconsistency in the book. Second book, Chapter 5. You have to fight the Helghhst but there's no check to whether you have the Sommerswerd or the Magic Spear equipped, unlike all previous encounters. Right now I have a normal Sword equipped and I can attack the undead. It's like the book assumes that you are wielding the Sommerswerd by default.
Seventh Sense is aware of the fact though, as no damage is inflicted since a x0 multiplier appears. But what happens if you get a killing result on first roll, is it still deemed null by the x0 multiplier? Maybe an interactive footnote could be added reminding you to equip the Sommerswerd or the Magic Spear?

Doc Doom, Thanks for the comments and reports: Could you give me the section number of the money/items buttons issue? That'll make it faster for me to work on it. Sounds like a bug.
As to inconsistency - One must draw a fine line between giving the player freedom to act studpidly and helping them complete the book. For instance, if you throw away the Seal of Hammerdal at the beginning of book 2 (Just drop it!), you will regret it later - you won't be able to finish the book. So, should I implement a warning that says "Do you really want to drop this item?" to give player a clue that it would be a bad idea, or should I just trust them to do the more intelligent thing.
Same issue applies to the Sommerswerd/Magic Spear situation. I do have them program automatically equip those items for you when you first encounter them, so that you'll not forget to equip them for the upcoming battles. But I think it's crossing the line to say "Are you sure you want to do that?" when the player goes to attack a Helghast with a normal weapon. Yeah, it's a bad idea, and you might die because of it, but then, you might not. You can switch to using the sommerswerd on the next round of combat, for instance. So, there is a saving grace. (In prior versions of the program, you couldn't switch weapons mid-battle - If you started off with a normal weapon against a Helghast, you were doomed to die. At least that's not the case now!) And yes, a "K" times zero is still zero. You really can't actually kill a Helghast with a normal waepon, no matter hard you hit it!
Anyhow, those are some good points of discussion. I like to err on the side of less explicit help for the player, and assume that people learn by experience. Equipping the Sommerswerd before attacking undead, for instance. (Helghast or not).
Thanks for your input!

Section number 212! For the other matter, I see your point! It's true that having a check on the Magic Spear in each of the first 3 encounters and not in the last one could seem an inconsistency, but on the other hand you have been warned 3 times and you should have the Sommerswerd. You should know better than to attack a Helghast with normal weapons!

I found something really minor in Book 2, section 238 As soon as you enter the section there's a ")" under the numbers of the Cartwheel. When you make a bet everything is as it should be, then when you click again on Play Cartwheel for another round of the minigame, the ")" appears again.

Ok. Question about the award for killing the 4 Helghast. I read more than one time that is working fine, but then I must have missed something.
Spoiler (select the following text): I killed: the one in section 106 the one in 332 the one in 52 went to 338 and then 269 then the last one in section 5
what did I miss?
