So, let's say I just got robbed by a group of fishermen, track them down to Ragadorn, and get my Seal, map, and pendant back.
I'm still without much cash, so I go to the local gambling house and the bouncer takes not only my weapons, but all of my special items as well. When I leave, they end up back in my Lost Items tab. Has this been addressed?

It sounds like you are using one of the playing aids. Which one?

It would be pretty funny if one day someone reports one of these problems and we find out he's not playing with any aid but just the plain old gamebooks.

um... Seventh Sense, I think? Sorry, I just found out about this whole deal a couple days ago, I didn't even realize there were multiple programs to use.
Should I be taking this up with the people who made the reading aid?

Let's see if moving it to the Seventh Sense support board triggers any reactions :-)

Nevermind. It appears that something has either been added in the last couple days, or I am completely blind and missed the "Retrieve Lost Items" button previously.
Carry on, then.

i'm not sure why it does that in the first place, doesn't that section specifically say that losing your weapons is just flavour text and not to adjust your Action Chart? edit: this is section 238 we're talking about, right?

I wrote Seventh Sense, and I have no idea what you're talking about...
Okay, more helpful response: Which version of the program are you using? The most recent?
Please provide details, such as which sections you visited, and which buttons you pushed. When you visit the gambling house, for instance, you don't lose anything - it *is* just flavor text. So, what exactly are you looking at and doing?
(It's possibly a bug, but I'm not willing to acceed that until I know more.)

Oh, I missed this post. Yeah, it sounds like you just missed the Retrieve Lost Items button until after the gambling hall.
