I recently discovered that an iPhone app developer called Big Bubble has ported a few of the classic Fighting Fantasy titles to the iPhone: www.fightingfantasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=128&Itemid=2The games are quite nice with a good interface, full color illustrations, and dice that tumble as you shake the phone. It resolves all combat and skill check results for you and does inventory management. This got me wondering... Would there be an interest in having this for Lone Wolf books? If so, which device(s) would you want to see this for?

Speaking for me personally, I have a blackberry, but wouldn't have time to really make use of this. But others should vote how best fits them.

Android is taking off in a big way, with new generation tablets beginning to rival the iPad. As an owner now of both an Android phone & an Android tablet, I'd be VERY interested For now, I'm settled on KINDLE versions - but starting to investigate options for an Android native version.

Just want to throw in my two cents and say that I would love to have LW on my phone. I'd like to be able to read/play on the go, with just my phone. Carrying action charts is too cumbersome. I'm not technologically savvy enough, but it seems like it shouldn't be too problematic to have a similar interface to the Statskeeper set-up, but I don't know if that would be feasible using and of the currently available software options (e.g., Kindle). Would a stand-alone ap be required?

There is an android app in the making for this, but the developer had to withdraw it temporarily due to issues with the license. The app will be available again in the near future.

Until recently, it was understood the "i" platforms had been reserved commercially. We have now been updated that these are still available for non-commercial developers - so anybody interested can give it a go! The books themselves can be accessed from "i" devices through a variety of means, some of which are posted throughout these forums. Hope this helps James

There seems to be an app on android marketplace now for LW called Lone Wolf Saga. it only has Flight From The Dark on there so far. have just downloaded it and played through it. Is that the one people have been talking about?
Incidentally, looks to have been added to droid marketplace on 13th April 2012.

Good call on that, zukkermaus.
Downloaded and installed. Rolling for 19/29 is a bit of a chore, but as soon as I have, I will report back as to how awesome it is or isn't.

He is certainly aware of the forums, and is working closely with us (AON) to obtain the book content. I have forwarded your thoughts on, so hopefully you will hear from the man himself shortly! I can speak from experience though that it takes a LONG time to convert each book, so these projects always require lots of patience from all involved.

I can imagine! I have a bit of experience - as an enthusiastic layman - with web coding / design (mainly in building and running social networks using various CMS types) and wanted to branch into app building for droid but it seems... complex. would like to offer a hand but, like Paido, not sure if 'twould be much of a helping one...
