Okay, so the only cure for Korovax is the Oede Herb and the Tincture of Oxydine, both of which are restoratives (+10 EP and +2 EP respectively.)
When used to cure the infection, would you say that their restorative powers are used up in just battling the infection? Or would you still go ahead and restore the +2/+10 EP? Personally, I think it makes the most sense to *not* gain EP, since you are pretty much just lucky to be still alive...
If the general consensus is that you should get both a cure, and restore EP, I'll put it in that way, but as it stands, you currently get cured, but don't have EP restored.
Input from anyone is welcome!

I would say that in this case you shouldn't receive any EP restoration, only curing the illness.
BTW, have you spotted the issue about kalkoth award in book 3?

Given that Korovax is supposed to be one of the nastiest diseases, I'd say that any restorative purges the illness from you, and uses up all its power doing so.
Whilst a healthy body gets a full restorative effect (whether it be +10 or +2), I'd say it's a bit rich to expect that a disease ravaged person would get any similar such benefits.

Funny - I've been reading through Shadow on the Sand just today and came across the following ( Book 5, Sect. 2): Now, it's possible the ruling was changed in one of the later books, but this seems like a very solid reference point.

That's a great find, zut! I don't think there's a good case for doing it any other way, so I'll just keep it like it is, and have it cure the disease, if you have it, and give you +10/+2 EP if you don't.
Thanks, everyone!

This will be footnoted in the next Project Aon release of The Jungle of Horrors (Sections 42 and 156). Cheers!
