I think we need a thread for this I don't want to post in the Bug thread unless I got a bug to report but I still want to konow the progress. I seen this by Dave "Book 9 - 35% " that is fantastic!!! Dave: How does the version system works? 1.8 for book 8... next book be 1.9 and any updates thereafter within in the book 1.9.1 etc... How could Seventh Sense reach 2.0.0? will that be after book 12? what trigger an update from 1.x.x to 2.x.x?

Each minor release (bugfix versions), increase the 3rd number, so 1.8.0 becomes 1.8.1. Each major release (new book added) increases the second number of version. So, when book 10 comes out it'll be version 1.10.0, then 1.10.1(bugfix), 1.11.0(new book), etc. A major number revision (first number) indicates a break in binary compatibility with previous versions. (like when I went from the 0.9x beta to 1.x of the current releases) So, a 2.0 version of the program could indicate either (or both) : new style of saving game data (incompatible with prior versions, meaning every player has to start over), or new style of storing/reading book data (incompatible with previous version's style, meaning *I* have to start over.) Once book 12 is finished, I will probably work on a version 2.0, and create a converter to take care of 90%+ of the work from my end. Despite the extra work it would entail, it would create a more robust system which can handle the updates on Project Aon as books continue to be proof-read and improved. In this post, I mention that book 9 is approx 60% finished. It still is at the same place - I probably won't be able to work on it much for a good week or more.

All this amazing work, I think you and Project Aon should approach Joe Dever about selling Seventh Sense on a platform, Blackberry Playbook perhaps? The Playbook Is new enough that they could throw their weight behind it. Imagine the possibilities. Some revamped graphics to suit the screen size and boom, good to go, no other digital gamebooks would match it. Just a thought
