I'm aghast! (Not a Helghast, just "aghast")
In books 1-9, there are wonderfully unique random number tables in each book - no two table is the same. I put the tables from my paper copies of the books (I own 1-12) directly into Seventh Sense, for as accurate a representation of each book as possible.
Then, I come to the Random Number Table in book 10 - it's identical to book 9! So, one of two things seemed to happen here: #1) Joe Dever got Lazy, and decided to just re-use the one from book 9 #2) the American publisher that made my book got Lazy and *stole* the chart from book 9 and put it in book 10.
So, my big question is, if you have a paper-copy of book 10(especially a non-American publication), would you check and see if the random number table in it looks like this (mine does) :
4 0 4 8 7 4 0 9 7 5 7 6 3 6 9 6 5 6 0 2 5 8 9 3 8 0 4 7 4 5 2 7 0 4 6 8 2 5 6 4 4 8 2 4 2 3 8 2 9 5 8 2 6 8 6 7 9 8 2 8 3 0 8 4 6 1 3 5 6 9 8 0 2 7 3 5 1 7 9 4 3 8 6 5 8 1 6 8 2 6 0 8 4 6 1 0 1 6 9 5
Thanks for your help, everyone!
(p.s. Book 10 = 10% finished)

I've got the Beaver edition (wait, that sounded really wrong....) and the RNT is identical to the one you listed below. So it may be Joe that got lazy?

The Red Fox edition of Book 10 reuses the RNT from Book 9. It's unlikely that Joe got "lazy"; more likely is either that he just forgot to turn one in, or that he did turn one in, but the publishers reused the previous one by mistake.* After all, the RNT for Book 11 is different. After all, they managed to reuse the Map for Book 27 in Book 28.

Checked the Czech editions and they also reuse RNT from Book 9 in Book 10 - it's the same RNT as the one you presented.
Except for a little mistake - in Book 9, the number in 1st row and 1st column is 3 (instead of 4). This was corrected to 4 in Book 10, though, so likely that was an unintended typo.
All of which is probably not surprising - since translators would hardly have a better access to Joe Dever than original publisher.

Reuse? These tables are by coincidence the same. That's true randomness! I think this one is famous: xkcd.com/221/

Last day in Sweden... got to re-see my Lone Wolf books, I got all Swedish, All English and different version, got a few German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian etc... love my collection... ok to the point. The Swedish book 10 is different, not sure if it copied an older.. the map is crappy black and white... etc etc... I took a photo of it I will post home but write the first line here 4 6 5 2 8 6 4 0 7 2... 5 3 9 8 8 0 4 7 7 5...

Awesome... I'll check those lines against the other RNT's from books 1-9. Thanks for following up with that.

Ahh. That sequence of numbers is identical to the first two lines of the RNT in book 7. Nuts - still no original table for book 10. I'll just keep the book 9 one for now.

your book 10's chart is the same as the one from book 3.

your book 10's chart is the same as the one from book 3. Damned, you're right. Sorry, I didn't thought to compare it with the other books. Well, so I suppose my chart is of no help as having a copy of book 3'chart is roughly the same as having a copy of the book 9's.

At least it's less obvious that it's just a lazy copy- not a lot of people will read book 10 right after they read book 3 compared to how many will read it after book 9...
