How do you adapt the books to 7th sense? Do you manually copy&paste the text into the source and add the fights etc?

The text is all contained in the .zip file (which has individual HTML files for each section). I use an editor program to help me convert the text, adding hyperlinks for items, combats, and other required actions( like losing EP, picking random numbers, etc), and add some logic in the case of whether or not LW can use auto-Healing on this section, etc.
So, the basic links of "turn to section xxx" are pretty much automatic, but everything else is manual, including any sort of conditions needed to actually turn to the section (like "have certain item/discipline/money, ever visited this place/met this person, etc.)
So, it sounds complex, but is usually pretty quick, until I run into some completely new game mechanic that Joe throws into the mix. That slows me down more than anything, as I try to figure out how to deal with it from a programming perspective.

Seems like you could probably write a text parser for the conditions needed. Virtually all of the Magnakai discipline checks are formatted the same way - "If you have the Magnakai Discipline of <x> [and have reached the rank of <x> [or higher]], turn to <x>."
The GM series changes it up a bit, but they're all formatted the same was as well - "If you possess <x> [and have reached/attained the Kai rank of <x> [or higher]], turn to <x>."
At the very least the above (assuming it's accurate, lols) would eliminate a decent chunk of work and you could do the remaining oddballs manually.

I've discovered enough variety in those statements, that it would be difficult to create a reliable parser. It really doesn't take long to deal with "if you have discipline" bits... The Editing tool I've created is pretty efficient and quick (After all, I did book 9 in 2 weeks!) The hardest part is finding the time to use it!
(I've said all along that inputting the books is the least time consuming of all tasks related to this project. I stand by that statement.)
Edit: Book 10 @ 35%

50% great! Book 10 is a favorite book for a lot of people (me included). Book 11 maybe less.. it be the first book where SS characters with stats CS10 wont make it I guess... Book 9 you can get away with the dagger but book 11 if I remember right you must take the fight.

A Hardcore Magnakai run through books 6-12 will indeed be a feat to celebrate!

99% - I've just got the arrange a couple of medal images. No idea how long that will take - we go into finals week next week; 18hrs of vocal juries = fun!

Okay, the long week of finals and vocal juries is over! I've messed around with the medals a bit (there are a few new images among the earlier books' awards - sorry if that upsets anyone! There are not many different, just a couple) and I'm satisfied with the medals.
I've licked all of the bugs reported in the bug thread, so I'll take stock of my to-do list, to make sure things are to-done, and we'll probably have a release in the next day or so.
